 Well laid out square, closed rooms. We only found three places to eat.

The toilets are absolutely a shame especially if they are designed for a female user .... I wonder who licensed their use!

Pessimo, pasta stracotta e risotto "zafferano" scotto e asciutto. Sconsigliato.
Sorry but this was the worst lunch had in Italy! Unbelivable..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bar Istriano in piazza mercato gode di un ottima posizione. Caffè con amici nei tavolini esterni in un caldo febbraio quasi primaverile. Mentre gli altri bar della piazza erano all'ombra qui ci siamo goduti un tranquillo caffè baciati dal sole con una gradevole musica di sottofondo.
Istrian bar in the market square enjoys an excellent location. Coffee with friends at the outside tables in a hot almost spring February. While the other bars in the square were in the shade here we enjoyed a quiet sun-kissed coffee with pleasant background music.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo fatto aperitivo in questo bar situato in centro città. Ho apprezzato il piatto degli stuzzichini, ricco e variegato. Cameriera gentile e tempi di attesa giusti.
Tolgo due punti perché per quanto riguarda i cocktails c'è poca scelta, sia per quelli di accompagnamento all'aperitivo sia per quelli più "strong", in più i prezzi di questi ultimi mi sembrano leggermente pompati (8€). In più i servizi igienici sono angusti e molto sporchi.
We had an aperitif in this bar located in the city center. I enjoyed the appetizer plate, rich and varied. Friendly waitress and fair waiting times.
I take away two points because as far as cocktails are concerned there is little choice, both for those accompanying the aperitif and for the more "strong" ones, plus the prices of the latter seem to me slightly pumped up (€ 8). In addition, the toilets are cramped and very dirty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the food was ok, although we found better in the neighborhood the previous times. However, unpleasant condition, not possible to have simple spaghetti for a child ? ? and not well organized (1 dish arrived 20 min after the others, after a reminder, salad served without seasoning, no apologies, etc...) For us not recommendable and 1st and last time! ...
