★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ex convento e per un periodo , nell'800, anche residenza estiva del re spagnolo Carlo IV oggi vi ha sede l'istituto di studi romani. Il complesso è rimasto quasi intatto col suo chiostro con al centro un pozzo ed alle pareti iscrizioni medievali. In un ala troviamo gli appartamenti reali con bei pavimenti di marmo policromo provenienti da edifici di epoca romana. Dal piccolo giardino si ha una splendida vista sul Tevere e Roma.
Vi è un bookshop e una biblioteca .
Former convent and for a period, in the 1800s, also the summer residence of the Spanish king Charles IV, today there is the institute of Roman studies. The complex has remained almost intact with its cloister with a well in the middle and medieval inscriptions on the walls. In one wing we find the royal apartments with beautiful polychrome marble floors from Roman buildings. From the small garden you have a splendid view of the Tiber and Rome.
There is a bookshop and a library.
