Don't ever rent a car @ interrent!! And at least, don't use your Master or visa card for deposit! We lost 490 euro's! After 6 months and a dozen of mails and phonecalls the issue still isn't fixed! Don't risk it! Don't rent here!

Since zero stars are not possible in this rating, I’m forced to give them one star although they do not deserve even this one star. Be aware and stay away from this rental company - they try to cheat their customers wherever possible. Their main business model is charging unreasonable invoices afterwards!

These people are literally thieves. They are charging your credit card with random amounts of money which they are not allowed to and have not been agreed on in any contract. I can just recommend to everybody to NOT BOOK YOUR CAR THERE - and especially do not give them ANY payment details.

We didn't have any problems, the car was ready to pick up in max 20min and the check out was done in less than 10 minutes. The verification was done immediately and no issues registered. In less than 1 hour we received the final statement with nothing to pay extra. Grazie mille!

While booking a car with an internet provider was quite easy our experience with InterRent was terrible. On the pro side the car we rented (Fiat 500) was clean and worked well. Now the contra side, while the car was fully paid by us, we had to pay an additional 250€ for 7 days due to the fact that our main driver did not have a credit card and they forced us to take a second additional driver which costed a fortune in order to use his credit card. According to the barely English speaking InterRent agents a change of main drivers was not possible as the car was paid in advance. After we initially refused to pay the sum the staff got very aggressive. The transport to InterRent from the airport is rather tricky, as there will be a not well visible shuttle which you have to call by telephone through an automated system. The driver was unfriendly and did not speak a single word of English. Our shuttle back to the airport was also delayed for about 15 minutes. Not recommended. Avoid if possible.

EXTRA COSTS - IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A REFUND We phoned for the shuttle at 9.30 am and had to wait outside the airport till past 11 to get picked up, then a long wait at the Interrent office in Brindisi to pick the car up. We refused all extras offered by the woman in the office as we had already paid for car excess insurance on the website car rental before starting our holiday. Yet, the day after we returned the car we were charged for extra assistance insurance just the same, which was added to our account without our permission. We went through the appeal process but with a negative outcome (285 euros!!!) DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

ZERO STARS - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS. I rented a car around 8 months ago. I did not purchase additional insurance despite the member of staff at the desk hassling me for about 10 mins. The car was dirty inside and out and there was bodywork damage on every panel. I made sure that the company was aware of this before I drove away. When I returned the car I returned the car with a full tank as requested and one of the staff checked this and also checked for any new damage. There was none and I was told it was fine to leave. 2 weeks after returning to the UK I found a charge made to my credit card that I left as a deposit, from InterRent/Europcar There was no explanation for this so I contacted my credit card company to retrieve the payment which they did and nothing was heard since. Now 8 months on I have just received a letter from a debt collection agency saying that I owe InterRent/Europcar the sum that was originally debited from my card but there is still no reason for this. What am I being charged for. This company is running a scam and I will never use InterRent or Europcar ever again and will strongly advise anybody else to stay well clear. This company has tried to commit theft by fraud.

poor service and scam with "bent antenna"--We rented stupidly through RyanAir but it was not really cheaper and a much greater hassle. Tje checkout was ok, luckily we were relaxed because it took time. The car was fine. HOWEVER, when we returned the car, there was a large line jamming the office and the person "Matteo" or "Mattia"? who was supposed to be outside was not present. We asked the woman at the desk and she was calling him. After 20 minutes of waiting in the heat and eating into our time cushion for flight departure, he showed up. He was insolent and not polite. My wife was angry and she did not want to discuss anything with him. As he checked the car, he noted an ever so slightly bent antenna (it is possible he bent it while we were not watching because I had not actually noticed it before). He was smoking also in and out of the car which I thought was not allowed. When we checked out then he said that we had a broken antenna "antenna rota." But it was just a flexible antenna. I straightened it. He still denied that it was functioning and said that I had merely straightened it. He was still being rude and impolite and grabbed the pen from my wife's hand which did not go over well. He then proceeded to switch the antenna. I said it looked good and then he bent it again! I took a picture before (when it was straight after I straightened it), and then after he switched and bent it. I am not confused and you can look at the picture metadata to see that the order is correct. He bent it! Now we don't know what sort of charge they will make us pay. I should not have signed but we had to get our flight.
