 Very nice and helpful park rangers with partly perfect knowledge of German. Clean and well-kept paths. A wonderful welcome in a very special place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Esperienza positiva. Fate il giro consigliato ricordate di portare acqua e barrette o viveri. Nelle giornate più calde, consiglio di andare con abbigliamento minimale (costume,scarpa da rocce,zainetto).
Positive experience. Take the recommended tour remember to bring water and bars or food. On hot days, I recommend going with minimal clothing (swimsuit, rock shoe, backpack).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Punto di accesso perfetto per visitare la necropoli di Pantalica: un sentiero di 900 metri permette di passare a fianco ad una serie di tombe e scendere fino al fiume Calcinara dove c’è un primo laghetto. Acqua gelida e limpidissima: bagno rigenerante imperdibile, tuffi compresi.
Perfect access point for visiting the necropolis of Pantalica: a path of 900 meters allows you to pass alongside a series of tombs and descend to the Calcinara river where there is a first lake. Frosty and crystal clear water: unmissable regenerating bath, including dives.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beauty of the totally preserved natural ecosystem protected by the gorge which the Anapo river goes through is a must go for visitors coming to the eastern Sicily, from one gate to the other is about 14km walk or bicycle (if you're planning to go by Bicycle plan in advance and give a call to the local turist info point in order to gain the formal access authorization) the main route which is what is left from an early train route gives the chance to admire the untouched ecosystem and the blue cristal Anapo river.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can’t give a fair review because we didn’t get to enter. I will edit this review once able to enter. It’s CLOSED (as of 24JUN2021). At this location to Pantalica, the guy said all of Pantalica is closed due to desert fires. I guess it makes sense since it’s been so hot lately. Maybe next time then…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hike, nice lakes, visit the cave of bats. Huge cave that is a few hundred metres deep it seems. Take a torch. Getting down to it might be too difficult for young children. No rails to hold onto at some parts down to the cave
