★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not recommend noodle with shrimp and mussel. Taste OK but very little amount and unreasonably expensive (16 euro) and I literally ate stone from the mussel. Bread is good.

There were wrong and too many orders on our bill.
Small portions for high prices.
They claim their food is homemade which I highly doubt.
One could recommend this to locals but for tourist's it's a no-go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a recommendation from the bartender at the Hotel Greif. It is a short walk from Walther Square and a good find. They make their own pasta and my meal was delicious. I will return to Il Tinello when I return to Bolzano!!! Note that the cat on the barrel photo is a modern day fresco directing all to the restaurant...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This lovely restaurant is mostly visited by locals from Bolzano. It's a bit off the beaten path. It's an hidden gem! It's a nice, no nonsense atmosphere. We had the homemade tagiatelle with smoked salmon, shrimp and dried tomatoes. This was a real party for your taste buds! I can Guarantee you a lovely meal! The waiter was nice and speaks 3 languages so ordering is no problem. The portions are quite large so there's really no need for an apertiser.
