β β β β β 50+ of us descended upon this restaurant from Ducati Leeds last night for our first night in Scarperia and were treated to an incredibly warm welcome and an excellent meal. Highly recommended. ?

β β β β β It's fairly basic but the food is good, you need a big appetite, starter portion size is large, I had mussels and got a huge bowl full, it could easily of been a main meal, needless to say struggled with the main after that which was a seafood spaghetti dish, the squid in that was plentiful and beautifully cooked

β β β β β While doing a day trip to Scarperia, we came across Il rustico... Something very charming about it made us choose this place for lunching.
The manager, a very sweet friendly man.... He assured us that they do have various good options for vegetarians.
We felt touched when the gentleman went out of his way to fulfill requests of our other family members - be it warming the breads in the basket to giving us various condiments like chilli oil, herbs etc.
We ordered a feast, they have many options for vegetarian foods.
Every dish was quite huge in quantity but we finished everything because it was all amazing in taste. Really had a wonderful lunch, it wasn't too expensive either.
