Non è un vero e proprio ristorante: c'è una piazzola coperta, abbastanza piccola, dove lo staff lavora e dove si può scegliere cosa mangiare vedendo dalla vetrina i cibi pronti (solitamente antipasti), mentre i primi, i secondi e le bevande si ordinano alla cassa . Insomma è una cucina self-service ma c'è anche qualcuno che passa per i tavoli . La cucina rispecchia il locale, semplice ma di ottima qualità con menù che variano spesso valorizzando il pesce in tutte le maniere. Qualità/prezzo IMBATTIBILE. The pirate is a one-of-a-kind place! You eat on the sand, outdoors and with a view of the sea. It is not a real restaurant: there is a covered pitch, quite small, where the staff works and where you can choose what to eat by seeing the ready-to-eat foods (usually appetizers) from the window, while the first, second courses and drinks are they order at the cashier. In short, it is a self-service kitchen but there is also someone passing by the tables. Le lasagne erano troppo asciutte, fatte probabilmente con troppo anticipo, non sono riuscito a prendere il fritto perché avevano pochi calamari e quindi erano soprattutto pescetti. Discreti gli spaghetti con le vongole, anche se in realtà erano lupini e di dimensioni anche piccole. Mio figlio ha trovato sabbia. Prezzi secondo me giusti visto che è un self service sulla sabbia. Forse qualche piatto potrebbe costare un po' di meno Per il gestore, visto che cortesemente ha risposto: i lupini non si possono chiamare vongole, commercialmente sono due cose diverse. Io non mi sarei fermato a mangiare lupini. Peraltro, i lupini li conosco bene: li "raccoglievo" da ragazzo nelle secche di San Benedetto ed erano più grandi. Sull'organizzazione: andrebbero gestiti meglio i bidoni dove svuotare i vassoi: ad inizio serata erano già pieni e non c'era un punto di appoggio per svuotare i vassoi It could be better organized. Dopo aver pagato ci siamo seduti in un tavolo sulla spiaggia ricoperto di sabbia, cosa non idonea per mangiare. Dopodiché sono stato chiamato al bancone per prendere le fritture e uno spaghetto alle vongole: nelle fritture si sentiva la pesantezza dell olio invece nello spaghetto risaltava il sapore dell'aglio. Abbiamo preso due antipasti di cozze (gratinate e sauté), due primi di spaghetti alle vongole e una bottiglia di vino bianco. Abbiamo mangiato bene, alla buona (auto-servizio con i vassoi da portare ai tavoli) e abbiamo speso 36 euro. Quindi, é un locale che consigliamo certamente, soprattutto se si vuole mangiare mentre si è in spiaggia, ma anche per pasti "informali". We had two starters of mussels (au gratin and saute), two first courses of spaghetti with clams and a bottle of white wine. We ate well, very well (self-service with trays to take to the tables) and we spent 36 euros. Therefore, it is a place that we certainly recommend, especially if you want to eat while on the beach, but also for "informal" meals.

Qualità prezzo....ci siamo...! Buona la qualità ma suggerirei di prestare più attenzione a vassoi, tavoli ed all'area in generale: in zona ci sono concorrenti che ad un prezzo non di molto superiore, offrono il servizio ristorante, anche se non con i piedi sulla sabbia.
