★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amici del posto mi avevano consigliato di andare al Panzerotto d'oro, volevo mangiare solo la puccia, ovviamente pagandola a qualsiasi prezzo ma si sono rifiutati di vendermela perché dovevo per forza acquistarla con il condimento... Assurdo, una barzelletta... Non ci torneró più nemmeno se la volessi ripiena.
Friends of the place had advised me to go to the Panzerotto d'Oro, I wanted to eat only puccia, obviously paying it at any price but refused to sell it to me because I had to buy it with the sauce ... Absurd, a joke ... Not I will come back even more if I wanted it filled.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Panzerotto d'oro, ex Spicchio e ancor prima Pasticcio, è una pizzeria storica qui a San Pietro, nonostante nel corso degli anni abbia cambiato gestione. Qui è possibile gustare pizze al taglio, focacce, fritturine, pucce,...ma soprattutto il famoso panzerotto pugliese, quello che noi campani chiamiamo "pizza fritta". È possibile consumare il pasto sul posto oppure acquistarlo e mangiarlo altrove. È aperto solo di sera.
Il Panzerotto d'oro, formerly Spicchio and even before Pasticcio, is a historic pizzeria here in San Pietro, despite the fact that it has changed management over the years. Here it is possible to taste pizza by the slice, focaccia, fritturine, pucce, ... but above all the famous Apulian panzerotto, what we Campania call "fried pizza". You can have your meal on site or buy it and eat it elsewhere. It is only open in the evening.
