Avevo prenotato perché eravamo 11, alla prenotazione mi viene chiesto se volevamo i tortelli, certo ma anche pizza e carne, mi viene risposto nessun problema. Invece scopriamo che la carne (grigliata, tagliata, galletto etc) è disponibile solo previa prenotazione. Altra brutta sorpresa riguarda la totale assenza, pure nel menu, di hamburger che invece vengono pubblicizzati. Alla fine abbiamo dirottato su tortelli al ragù (arrivati molto Scotti) e pizza (dura!!!).... peccato perché il posto avrebbe molte potenzialità. We had dinner with friends. The location is very pretty with lots of space for kids to roam free. I had booked because we were 11, at the booking I was asked if we wanted tortelli, of course but also pizza and meat, I was told no problem. Instead we find out that the meat (grilled, sliced, cockerel, etc.) is only available upon reservation. Another nasty surprise concerns the total absence, even the menu of burgers, which would be publicized. We eventually diverted to ravioli with meat sauce (arrived very Scotti) and pizza (hard !!!) .... shame because the place would have a lot of potential.

Abbiamo mangiato bene e speso il giusto. Piatti buoni e abbondanti. Sicuramente ci torneremo! We were 2 adults and a 2 year old, a really nice place and suitable for families like us. Little place in hand and very kind managers. We ate well and spent the right amount. Good and abundant dishes. We will definitely be back!

Affermare che si mangi bene è limitativo: antipasti di salumi e formaggi toscani con le coccole, ravioli caserecci di patate con ragù di cinghiale o al burro e salvia, grigliata di carne e torta di cioccolato e pere. Questo è solo un esempio di un pranzo in compagnia. Da sottolineare: cordialità dei titolari e piena accessibilità del locale anche per persone in sedia a rotelle (ben 2 bagni adattati!). Si richiede la prenotazione. Manca solo un posteggio dedicato a persone con disabilità, ma sono sicuro che l'amministrazione comunale provvederà a breve. The Osteria "Il Ciorniolo" is located in an enchanting green corner on the hills of Prato in Vernio. To say that you eat well is limiting: appetizers of Tuscan cured meats and cheeses with pampering, homemade potato ravioli with wild boar sauce or with butter and sage, grilled meat and chocolate and pear cake. This is just one example of a lunch with friends. To underline: friendliness of the owners and full accessibility of the room even for people in wheelchairs (2 bathrooms adapted!). Reservation is required. Only a car park dedicated to people with disabilities is missing, but I am sure that the municipal administration will provide it shortly.

Si comincia con dei taglieri di salumi e crostini lunghi un metro. Si continua con tortelli di patate conditi con vari sughi (io vi consiglio al ragu' ma soprattutto bianchi con cacio e pepi), si continua con Hamburgher, o se volete spiedini, tagliata di manzo. Per non parlare delle pizze fatte con farina integrale e dei dolci. Insomma un luogo per tutte le stagioni e per tutte le età. AL CIORNIOLO SI MANGIANO DEI TORTELLI, HAMBURGER PIZZE E RIPIEGATE COSI BUONE Che QUANDO VI SIETE STATI UNA Volta NON.POTETE FARE A MENO Di TORNARCI. Provare per credere What can I say about this small but cozy room, simply What can I say about this small but cozy place surrounded by greenery, simply fantastic. It starts with cold cuts and croutons one meter long. It continues with potato tortelli seasoned with various sauces (I recommend you with meat sauce but above all white with cheese and pepper), continue with Hamburgher, or if you want skewers, cut beef. Not to mention the pizzas made with whole wheat flour and the desserts. In short, a place for all seasons and for all ages.
