★ ★ ★ ★ ★ a beautiful view and very good fish but the service wasn't what we expected.... it took very long until someone came after the main course, we weren't offered more wine or anything else and the check took even more time so that we got up and paid inside at the service point to avoid even more waiting time - for the money paid we would have expected a much better service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place and very kind service. We just stopped for a coffee and cappuccino but the overall experience was great. Location is one of the best and I’m looking forward to come back for lunch or dinner. Menu and wine cart both look very interesting!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was good, however the service was quite embarrassing. Especially, in the rooftop bar we weren't actually able to order (Tuesday night). We were placed in a very badly-located table to which the waiters took 20 minutes to bring us the cocktail list, and then they neglected us without taking the order. Also, our request to be moved towards a more central table was rudely rejected. We left without buying anything: they didn't care about us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't misunderstand, you're paying for the view here. Their cocktails have fancy names and they taste fine, but you're paying for the view. The prices are not unreasonable €7 for a Spritz or some fancy Moscow Mule is not really that out of line, likewise €5 for a glass of wine is pretty typical elsewhere such as in Lucca. They also bring you a somewhat weak little tray of snacks, but it's passable. Again you're paying for the view. Don't expect anything else to be phenomenal including the customer service, because they don't care, and they're not working for tips. You came for the view, enjoy it, and be happy. In other places you would pay a lot more for an average drink with a fantastic view, so it's really not a bad deal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best place to relax by the sea in Castiglioncello and surrounding areas. There is an excellent, elegant restaurant with stunning views, a solarium with loungers, bean bags and ombrellone, food and beverage service as you are sunlounging and a cocktail bar on the roof. Everything you could want with friendly staff and beautiful vistas. oh and dogs are allowed and like it here too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a very nice place with a beautiful view and the food has a very good quality. Unfortunately they left us wait way too long for our plates. I would suggest them to keep with this quality but take less customers in the restaurant.
