★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food! We had the fish of the day and the lamb. Everything was cooked, paired and presented perfectly. Really great and eager service too. The waiter made a great effort in translating the menu. The semifreddo dessert was mouthwatering delicious but the crêpes were paired with a bitter orance sirup which was a shame.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing ! Location is fabulous- right beside the ocean. Simple articulate design allows for the ocean breeze to flow through the inside with a romantic atmosphere. Call ahead to reserve a seat outside on the deck. Waiters were punctual and attentive with delivery nothing short of a five star restaurant. Food presentation 5 stars with favors that will make your taste buds beg for more !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoy coming here for a coffee with our children before heading off for a few hours at the beach. It's not crowded and is a relaxing place to be. We used to visit most mornings when we were holidaying last year and dropped by today with some friends as we were in the area. Nice relaxing place right on the seafront.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful Restaurant and view at sea and sunset. Very good food, very good service. Menu is in Italian but the waiter was so kind to translate everything. We had a Lobster of 1KG with pasta and a beautiful dessert. They showed the big lobster before. They also have a lot of good wines. The prices are also good, a bit more expensive then other restaurants but the taste and experience is also better. If you want a romantic diner, this is the place. At first side you don’t see its a restaurant but if you walk up the entrance you ll know. Right at sea close at a harbor.

We stumbled in there with our kid and totally underdressed in beachwear while looking for something good for dinner.
We found il Bucaniere on Google and it was a hit.
Without reservation we got a table "inside" which means basically outside considering the restaurant being directly on the beach and having just glass doors to the amazing view to the beach and sea.
The waiters were super friendly and helpful, translated and explained the whole menu to us, also showed the fish we could eat.
The plates were beautifully arranged and tasted very delicious. Unfortunately our 2 year old son cut the story short by falling asleep right at the beginning. We sure missed a lot more good food, desert and a perfect sunset by probably 30min. Not cheap, but totally worth a try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service, great skill in the kitchen, wine list is deep, a view to die for. We tried the pasta e fagioli con le cozze and the tuna tartare. Followed by the pescato del giorno. Plan to be there for sunset and leave room for dessert.
