★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure why this place has 4.1 ratings, it should be way more. First, it is situated in a very lovely set up surrounded by old historic buildings and very nicely set up lighting above the restaurant. Second, the food is great and cheap!! I had a mix grill seafood dish that has a nice portion of sword fish, huge calamari and two large shrimp and it was like 15€. The calamari was good and well cooked so it is not chewy. The shrimp was delicious. The swordfish tasted fresh but it was little over cooked in my opinion. This is not a fancy dinner place but seems like a spot that is used a lot by the locals. It was packed at 10pm when I went for dinner but I was lucky I got a table.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic Dinner, good Price-Value, Big portions, Staff was nice. English menu on request. Recommendable. 4 out 5 because it tends to get quite busy and noisy at night. Waiters lost overview over tables. Sometimes long waiting times until waiter came to get order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came to the restaurant and they told us to wait 20 min to get a table but the waiting time became 1h20min, after that we go inside to ask if it was a missunderstanding, no one speaks english but only one guy who give us a table after another 10 minutes. So 1h30minutes to take a table. (Saturday)
We ordered pizza, risotto with horse steak and fried calamari, fish and prawns. They come only with risotto and fried seafood, we were very hungry and eat it all, after that they come with the pizza and the steak was forgot.
After 1 hour we want to leave, but they come with the steak which was raw and verry fat.
Pizza and fried seafood were pretty good

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to try different preparations of horse meat. I’m a vegetarian myself, but my date enjoyed the horse meat very much. We both had a nice plate of vegetarian antipasti from the buffet (not self service) to begin with. For desert we shared a lovely tiramisu. Very reasonable prices, big portions and popular with the locals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Catania for holiday and my boss recommended this restaurant for their horse meat. I tried 3 dishes of horse meat and enjoyed eating it. It was really a best experience to me to try this restaurant. Their dishes are affordable and their wait staff are friendly too. Just incredible and good restaurant to try when you visit catania ❤️
