β β β β β Slightly out of the centre, but a very warm and welcoming genuine Italian trattoria. Delicious simple food, the lasagna and culotta are great! Desserts are nothing special - better to explore nearby for gelato! The prices are great - the local wine is β¬7!!! Definitely worth a visit! The waitress in particular put a lot of effort into our visit and spoke great English!

β β β β β We were so glad a friend recommended us to try Il Bocconcino, is simply the best. Always over-the-top-amazing food with a huge variety and low prices. Probably the best quality-price ratio for food in Bologna.
The most attentive and friendly staff, they felt like long time friends, and we had the pleasure to drink some traditional drinks with them for free.
To sum up, Itβs a very simple restaurant, serving Italian classics alongside some really interesting and tasty cuisine.
