Nice place to live a 4icca experience of art and architecture, one of the artfully restored private palaces of Palermo and made available to the community with exhibitions of both modern and ancient art, several important authors have been exhibited in this art gallery. art and some families have donated several works to charity to this facility. I recommend to visit it. The time of the visit is very short and the cost of the ticket is not very high.

We went to Villa Zito to visit the temporary one of Emilio Isgrò, but just as significant is the permanent collection of this art gallery set up by the Foundation with the works owned by the Banco di Sicilia. A rich corpus of landscapes and portraits of this enchanting place. The rooms are usable and the tour routes are well organized, thanks to discreet but punctual signage. Several works (the Mattanza in Favignana, some miniatures by Boldrini, the flow of Etna by Guttuso ...) are iconic and the space dedicated to the legacy of the futurist Pippo Rizzo, a very pleasant and ironic surprise. A pity that all this is obviously not enough to increase the number of visitors: we hope that the fault lies with the mistral at the end of February. By the way: we found some discrepancies between the times indicated by Google Maps and those actually in force, better check on the official website, very well done.

This place needs little introduction to Palermitans, it's a very stylish lounge-bar and restaurant on the groundfloor of an important museum with garden area and also the stylishly furnished internal part. A perfect spot for formal parties and a nice place for a refreshening drink as 'aperitivo'. We went there this time (the third time in total) to celebrate our aunty's birthday with a drink and some fingerfood. It was a rainy evening, but we still managed to have a nice time outside. The food was really good and the atmosphere relaxing. The only thing I didn't appreciate was that we had to wait for more than half an hour to get the desserts for the kids. They served the 'sorbetto' to the adults, but the kids had to be patient for a while before they got their fruit and slide of cake (once again, nothing that would need a long prep time). Try it with two small kids at 9pm after a long day. So, my suggestion is to make first the kids happy, this will relax their parents a lot.

Very good private museum, 3floors with 19th/20th modern and contemporary paintings. Very quiet place and 5€ only. (With restaurant and good coffee)
