What a fantastic wine tour, giving you the history, the process of making wine and then the tasting. Plus after wines are well priced and cheap enough to ship back to UK. Fantastic

My husband and I had a lovely time at the beautiful winery. The tour was very interesting and the wines were lovely. Well worth the your time if you’re in the area.

Wonderful wine tasting experience that included a tour of a 17th century trullo, a look at the vineyards, the farm house and the wine making facilities, followed by a tasting of five of their wines - one sparkling, two white and two red. All delicious and the chance to order a crate to be shipped anywhere in the world for a reasonable price.

Very entertaining wine tour, explaining the grapes, harvest/production process and a tour of the old farm with trulli's as well as the new equipment they use today. After the tour there is a tasting with a sparkling wine, 2 white and 2 red, all excellent, though the choice of favourite was different among my family. Tour, tasting with a few antipasti is €10pp. All wines are honestly priced (€8-12), organic, locally grown, and harvested by hand. I Pastini is a family business and they take great care and pride in their wine production. They also export to Europe, Australia and the US, but shipping can be a bit steep, so we bought a selection to take with us by car and to enjoy on the rest of our holiday. The vineyard is not hard to find and easily reachable by car, or perhaps even by train if you dare a quick jump since the train tracks on which a small train passes about every hour goes through the middle of the vineyard ^^. We did a tour in English, at 5pm on a Wednesday, but they reply promptly to emails to arrange a tasting. Our group was about 15-20people. My personal favourite was the Bianco d'Alessano white (named Cupa) and the Susamaniello red (named VersoSud), but the primitive red was also good, not to sweet or bitter, excellent for people who otherwise might find red wine too strong, the other white we tried the Rampone (grape Minitulo) was very fruity in smell, but not in taste, definitely not bad, but preferred the Cupa, and according to the guide the Cupa can age on the shelf for up to 5-10years and greatly evolves in flavour, so reserving one of the bottles to try this out in the basement.

We really enjoyed our time here (Oct 19). We did a tour which was actually very interesting, the young lady was excellent. It wasn't too long either. The tasting (which let's face it is why we are all there) was really good & we all had various nibbles that complimented the wines we were going to taste. The only downside was that there were 2 people pouring the tastings for everyone & we were on the side that was a lot less 'heavy-handed' with the measures! The other people we were with were on the heavy-handed side......they bought a case to be shipped home at the end....we didn't....we would have no question if were sat where they were! Oh well. Definitely recommended though & if it is always the same, sit on the right! :-)

Nice wine tour. Absolutely loved the Versosud red wine. PS: They ship everywhere in Europe (I received my bottles the next week) and even in the US.

We had a very nice little tour around de vineyard and got information about the growing conditions of the grapes, the plucking and the making of the wine. We took a look at the old trullo where the owners used to live and storage their stock. Afterwords we could taste 4 kinds of wine and had some little snacks on the side. It took about 1h30 and costed 12.50p.p. We enjoyed it!

‘I Pastini’ hosts interesting and very professionally organised visits to the wine farm and production facilities. It was great that we could follow the tour in English. The tour is followed by a tasting of several of the wines accompanied by a plate of local snacks in a very romantic setting. The wines are very good (we loved the white ‘rampone’ and the red ‘verso sud’). The farm is not open for visits during weekends and public holidays.
