β β β β β We only stopped by for an appetizer and dessert to share one evening, however, the waiter was impeccably attentive, even though he was manning the door also. The food was fresh and exciting, not your typical pizza, pasta carb-fest. Nice decor and reasonably priced. Overall, I'd say it's worth a try!

β β β β β Lovely decor and food generally nice, but this gets 3 compared to other similar and cheaper priced places. A few things that would improve it:
1. Lettuce salad was pretty rubbish as far as salads go. Loads of lettuce and not much else. I've paid far less for much nicer in Naples.
2. Wine list could be improved. This is Italy!
3. Main spaghetti anchovie dish nice but a little bit less than al dente!
Decor lovely but if they could focus on the food a bit more this could be an amazing place.

β β β β β I Gerololini is a modern trattoria with traditional Napolitan food with a twist. The baccalΓ pulpo salad on a cold potato mash was comfort food although I would serve less potato and serve it warm fot more taste. Very nice bruschetta pomodori. Gear zitti alle genovese. My paccheri with pesce spada looked simple but was very well made with an intens creamy sauce with olive oil and lemon juice. Good local wine selection by the glass. Tiramisu okay. Friendly staff.

β β β β β We were hungry and not prepared to queue up at the trattoria we'd been recommended. We were looking for a cheese board and this place had one on the menu so we went in. It was rather disappointing I'm afraid, with only two types of cheese one of which we couldn't eat because it was that salty. We thought it was overpriced for what we got. It's a nice place if your looking for something fancy, the place itself looks nice, but not worth a visit if you only have a couple of days in Naples, there are plenty of more traditional, better priced places where to try Napoletan food.
