The food is as I expected in an osteria, prepared in a good way.
But what surprised me quite in a positive way was the staff, two waiters running a full house - vigilant, speedy and efficiently, without appearing stressed or impersonal. Therefore I really liked the atmosphere!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tourist trap alert! 9€ for a plate of Barilla (cheapest brand of pasta) pasta prepared with tomato sauce straight from the glass case you can buy at the supermarket. Terrible wine. Second course: pork meat floating in a sea of second hand olive oil. Seemed like the pork was reheated in the microwave. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sometimes restaurants forget what their work is about; to serve their guests the best food and bring them the most pleasant service. Antica Osteria Pisano is a nice place with a pleasant terrace. The carpaccio di spigola is a fantastic dish like the alici marinati. The headwaiter insist we have the spaghetti with galinella, cozze and vongole. It is not good. Too salty, little mussels and very small fish that are more intended for a fritto misto. But the biggest problem is he charged us 50 euros for 3...and that is a rip off. It should have been 25 / 30. So go there, pick your own dishes and don't take the suggestion of the day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious fish options in a lovely setting with friendly and warm staff. We had the baccala in umido - incredible flavours in the tomato-based sauce with a hefty portion of cod - and perfectly grilled orata. Excellent place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic seafood dishes, cooked to perfection with great flavor! The sauces were especially scrumptious and greatly seasoned of the two main courses that we tried. To top it all off, the price to quality ratio is great.
Definitely recommend this osteria, especially for their octopus in tomato sauce (Polipetti in cassuola) and their seafood pasta (Pignatiello frutti di mare).
