Hotel Za Maria

VIVAMENTE SCONSIGLIATO!!!!!!!!!!! All arrivo abbiamo trovato insettini fra le lenzuola e il gestore ha dato la colpa a noi e allo scirocco. Il giorno dopo (giugno) scopro che la spiaggia non è attrezzata e che la piscina versa in stato di abbandono. Nel pomeriggio il condizionatore della nostra stanza comincia a perdere acqua. Lo ha aggiustato il mio compagno e alla mia ennesima lamentela il gestore mi risponde che avrei fatto meglio Ad andarmene! La colazione ridicola, yogurt presentati dentro il cartone, un croissant senza poter scegliere, nessuna bevanda disponibile a parte il caffè . Non capisco come possa avere delle buone recensioni.. VIVAMENTE SCONSIGLIATO!!!!

Reception cordiale accogliente si prende carico di risolvere eventuali inconvenienti sulla prenotazione, non posso dire lo stesso del ristorante con responsabile di sala scortese e con trattamento infastidito nei confronti del cliente. La struttura è curata e pulita. Si affaccia sul mare. Unico inconveniente è il dovere uscire dalla struttura per raggiungere la piscina prospiciente al mare con annessa spiaggia.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso questo hotel per un weekend tra mare e montagna. La cordialità, disponibilità e la simpatia dei padroni di casa è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Struttura accogliente con camere spaziose e molto pulite con una vista mozzafiato sulla spiaggia. Cena molto buona e prezzi onesti. Unica pecca il condizionatore un po' troppo rumoroso ma questa è una piccolezza che sicuramente verrà sistemata dalla proprietà. ARRIVEDERCI E GRAZIE MILLE PER TUTTO.

5 star service Beautiful hotel

The employees do not know how to do their job and the hotel has a lot of flaws, it is old and it is not pleasant to stay here.

The place is cozy and chic, and the dishes were wonderful for aspect and taste.

This so called hotel is a disgrace. The owner or the staff may try to argue my next statements but I assure you I wouldn't have anything to gain by dissing this hotel. This place is easy to notice because its architecture is very out of this place, it's like trying to match a piece from a puzzle game to another. There are insufficient parking spots in fron of the hotel. The 'unlucky' guests may park in a parking lot nearby the hotel but this place isn't taken care of by the hotel staff because it doesn't belong to them. The beach that belongs to the hotel is a joke, they threw some sunbeds on the stone beach (yes stone as big as a football ball), there is no path for the guests to try to get to the water. The pool is very small and their overall staff is not well trained, as well as the fact that they do not know how to behave with the guests. The pool is utterly dirty, the showers don't work very well, the sunbeds are as old as the hotel(very old). One positive thing is that the rooms are very large...but the bathroom is not clean, the AC doesn't work, the fridge doesn't cool the food and the bed creaks. The furniture is old, the breakfast is poor and their food was cold and not fresh made. I asked the manager for help and surprisingly, he was very drunk and he became violent while refusing to talk in English, he probably swore us, but nothing and no one could make him behave normal. Don't risk placing your belongings in the safe because it wasn't protected in any way, I could have easily take the safe with me because it wasn't bonded to the wall at all. The manager said that he takes no interest in the safe issue as well as other issues that we have raised. The hotel is empty because no one has had the bad luck of ending up here, I was 'forced' by the circumstances to stay here in my Italian journey. Be aware, and stay away from this place.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in my travels to Sicily. One of the very best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! The food, views, and hospitality are second to none. I look forward to my next trip to Sicily and my stay at, Za Maria!
