★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'hotel San Gabriele è in una posizione comodissima per chi soggiorna a Loreto: la basilica è raggiungibile in pochi minuti a piedi, bar e ristoranti in zona, fermata del bus per raggiungere Recanati e Porto Recanati a pochi passi dall'ingresso dell'albergo. Possibilità di soggiorno B&B, mezza pensione e pensione completa. Colazione sufficientemente varia, non continentale. Parcheggio sorvegliato a disposizione dei clienti fino ad esaurimento posti, ma possibilità di usufruire di un parcheggio a pagamento in un piazzale vicino. Personale gentile, chiaro e disponibile. Tuttavia le stanze, sebbene pulite e in ordine, non sono da hotel a 3 stelle: letti, sedie, scrivanie, armadio vecchi; assenza di frigo bar; prese di corrente insufficienti per alimentare ventilatore e caricare il cellulare; televisore a tubo catodico con pochi canali, no cassaforte. L'aria condizionata dovrebbe essere presente solo in alcune stanze con sovrapprezzo (non ho certezze su questo punto). Nonostante le camere, per tutte le comodità descritte, ho soggiornato in questo albergo per due volte prenotando tramite booking la prima volta e tramite mail la successiva. Nonostante la non poca differenza di prezzo tra le due prenotazioni entrambe le stanze avevano le medesime pecche. Il prezzo non è coerente con il listino prezzi esposto in camera aggiornato al 2020. Il personale non è presente in hotel durante la notte ma è comunque sempre disponibile e reperibile telefonicamente. Il San Gabriele ha molti punti a favore che però vengono messi in ombra da tanti altri elementi che basterebbe solo adeguare ai tempi.
 The San Gabriele hotel is in a very convenient position for those staying in Loreto: the basilica can be reached in a few minutes on foot, bars and restaurants in the area, bus stop to reach Recanati and Porto Recanati a few steps from the hotel entrance . Possibility of B&B stay, half board and full board. Sufficiently varied breakfast, not continental. Supervised parking available to customers subject to availability, but the possibility of using a paid parking lot in a nearby square. Friendly, clear and helpful staff. However the rooms, although clean and tidy, are not 3-star hotels: old beds, chairs, desks, wardrobes; absence of mini bar; insufficient power outlets to power the fan and charge the mobile phone; CRT TV with few channels, no safe. Air conditioning should be present only in some rooms with extra charge (I am not sure about this point). Despite the rooms, for all the comforts described, I stayed in this hotel twice, booking the first time through booking and the next time by email. Despite the considerable difference in price between the two bookings, both rooms had the same flaws. The price is not consistent with the price list displayed in the room updated to 2020. The staff is not present in the hotel during the night but is always available and available by phone. The San Gabriele has many points in favor which, however, are overshadowed by many other elements that it would be enough just to adapt to the times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dopo numerose telefonate per sapere se mi potevano confermare la presenza di una colonnina di ricarica per veicoli elettrici e, in caso affermativo, se fosse disponibile (a pagamento) anche se di passaggio, nessuno mi ha saputo dare risposta e, tanto meno, nessuno si è prodigato per informarsi, anzi, "si vede che non siamo stati informati" è stata l'ultima risposta della receptionist delle 15.15 del 16 aprile 2022.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice hotel, the ladies at the front desk are grade 10. I forgot my passport there and they sent it to me by taxi.
The rooms are good, but they need a renovation. The lady who cleans there has to ventilate well because it smells weird.
128 is for two nights. It is a good price, but the hotel needs a little investment, and a lot of cleanliness.
