Non bisogna guardare le apparenze!!! Abbiamo mangiato benissimo le tagliatelle piene di funghi le olive ottime una zuppa inglese come si deve. Consigliato.
Don't look at appearances !!! We ate very well the tagliatelle filled with mushrooms the excellent olives an English soup as it should be. Recommended.

We went to the restaurant. As others have already written, do not be impressed by the aesthetics of the place: it seems that time here has stopped in the early 80s, retro / vintage that for some will seem old. We actually ate very well ... a few simple but quality dishes (fantastic lamb scottadito), excellent gratin tomatoes, very honest ragù .. ridiculous prices. The lady who served us at the table very courteous. The only flaw is the wine, a little too "genuine".

Consigliatissimo
So ... on the skin ... you wouldn't value it much. Both the exterior and the interior of the restaurant recall the good old days when the structure was built and lived the splendor of the past. Everything changes when you sit down and the very kind ladies in charge of the room welcome you with the authenticity, and the accent, typical of the place. The menu is limited to a few very delicious dishes. Do not expect gourmet dishes or extreme research of combinations typical of the most modern kitchens. Here the genuine flavors come on stage, the real ones of the past. Among all I must absolutely mention the scottadito lamb, the tomatoes au gratin in the oven. The lunch ends with an excellent bill, really affordable prices that confirm the adage that "In Offida you spend little and eat well". Highly recommended

Sempre una certezza! Piatti abbondanti e caserecci. Da provare assolutamente le tagliatelle alla Robespierre! Ristorante pet friendly. Con 20 euro mangi dal primo al dolce. La domenica, se si vuole, fanno il menù completo a 25euro. Torneremo prima possibile.
Always a certainty! Hearty and homemade dishes. Don't miss the Robespierre tagliatelle! Pet friendly restaurant. With 20 euros you can eat from first course to dessert. On Sundays, if you want, they offer a complete menu for 25 euros. We will be back as soon as possible.

A great place. We adore the Hotel Caroline - the restaurant, the bar and the hotel - all of it. Our friend has been coming here for almost 20 years. She said it was a must do local gem and she was spot on. I would call the place thrillingly retro. It’s a bit of a throwback but to us that is a key part of its charm. First, the food. This is rustic Italian cuisine here at its best. Hearty, tasty and so reasonably priced. Locals come here in numbers every day for this food and it is as you’d imagine nonna would make it. Fresh, hearty and completely delicious. We tried a range of dishes including antipasti, canneloni, ravioli, lamb and pork, veal, salad, potatoes etc. They were all fantastic, particularly the pasta and the veal. The pasta is extremely well made and is melt in the mouth stuff. There’s no fancy presentation here. No trickery or style over substance either. This is simply fantastic well made rustic Italian food. Nothing here is expensive. All dishes are modestly priced. The set menu is a steal at 15 euro and you’ll feel like you had that value many times over. You get a huge amount of tasty food and the price includes wine and mineral water! The white and red wines are crackers too. Fruit driven and lovely. I’ve eaten at plenty of fancy restaurants in quite a few places, but the restaurant here will always be up there with them in my mind. It is a local gem. Second, the bar. It’s a tiny bar cafe but again rustic and friendly. They make a delightfully wicked coffee here. Inky black and delicious and bound to get you into stride. I looked forward to my cafe lungo every day. It’s good morning, afternoon and night. We spent a few very happy evenings here sitting at the basic tables and chairs necking a few beers and wines in the warm evening glow and admiring the passing parade of locals. It was enormous fun. Finally, the hotel. We stayed here for three nights and found it very hard to leave. Our room was incredibly comfortable. The bed and pillows were just right. The bathroom was great. The shower a beauty. The TV is a postage stamp but we actually thought that was a advantage. Who comes here to watch TV! The fit out is again engagingly retro. We embraced it and loved it. The room cost again was modest. We adored the whole set up and would stay here again in a heartbeat. A final thanks to the good and patient staff here for putting up with our learner Italian. They’re superstars. Pleasant, friendly, efficient and wonderful. Hotel Caroline, thank you, we will see you again.

5 stars because here you can enjoy the experience of going straight back in time of 50-60 years. I remember when I went here as a kid with my family and nothing changed, including and particularly the good food prepared with the old/classic recipes of Marche. Must have are the maccheroncini with the classic ragù. The “bauletti” filled with meat, The fried lamb ribs. The mixed arrosto!
