★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is based in a lovely quiet location by the river at the top end of lake Como. The staff are friendly and accommodation is very good. Have stayed here a few times and recommend it highly.

You do not find any locally rooted path.
No research, no passion I would dare...
A plain and mixed set of dishes, mixed roots (sea, lake, ....) with no storyline.
Disappointed as per a tourist seeking local stories.
Storytelling at zero level.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered two aperitif. One was OK, the other one tasted like convenience food. Both were overprized in our opinion. The waitress seemed kinda disinteressed and the waiter seemed overstrain. Noodles with calamari tasted good, but my friend got fried fish which didn't taste good and seemed to have been frozen before and then been stoved into a deep fryer. All in all I won't recommend that restaurant.
