★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to hotel Petrarca just for using their pools (9 in total) which you can do by paying a daily fee, without having to properly check in and whatsoever. The water is perfect and clean, also the pools and restrooms themselves. What I didn't like was the amount of mosquitos (and I know there are ways to reduce the amount of mosquitos) and the fact that you cannot get cold water though the taps or the showers, which during hot summer days is expected from a facility like this. I know I can pay for a bottle of cold water, but still, that is not the point, being unable to find cold water even after paying what I find a reasonable but still high price, is to me, unacceptable.

Still, one of a kind place, irreplaceable, especially in the summer with its olympic (50m) thermal pool and huge garden. 100% worth the money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, cool set up and nice variety of pools. The best part is the big garden by the huge pool, where you can lay down and enjoy the summer days. You have to try the cold/hot water treatment as it's heaven for your legs.
