We stayed for a week in August and left very happy Spotless rooms, with very large and functional bathrooms. Staff always helpful and courteous. Top kitchen! Strategic position in the Ahrntal Valley, the only limit is a not very large car park. Absolutely to recommend!

Nice hotel, at not exaggerated prices for the Ahrntal Valley. The reservation of 2 standard double rooms was not respected, we were given a single with an extra bed for the boys and a superior one for us. Having pointed out that the single was absolutely too small and required a room change, in the end they left us the single compensated by a 10% discount. We also paid for unfulfilled drinks, then reimbursed with a separate bank transfer, but even here only after our notification. The cleanliness of the rooms is quite good, the food is also good, to improve the breakfast in general: space and quality (to have a decent cappuccino I had to ask for it at the bar and pay for it separately). Serious non-compliance with the regulations for the containment of the covid-19 pandemic: the green pass was not requested, guests who wandered around the hotel and in the pool / spa area without a mask, even waitresses who served at the table with the mask under their chin .

I'll start with the positive: Location : We spent 7 days skiing in Steinhaus/Klausberg. The location of the hotel is almost perfect. Within approx. 5 minutes you are at the lift, shopping facilities in the village can also be reached in a few minutes. Hotel facilities: is what I would expect from a three star hotel. Reception, dining room etc. ok. - Good. A beautiful terrace is in front of the house. The prices (drinks) are absolutely fine. The wellness area is actually quite nice for a three star hotel, unfortunately the sauna was still cool for us (afternoon 5 p.m.) and the whirlpool was clearly too fresh. A restaurant/lounge is available, but I can't rate it because we didn't use it. Elevator available. A ski room is available, but equipped rather spartan. Here it is worth spending around €35 for the ski depot at the lift. Room really the best thing about the house! We had a superior room with great, comfortable furnishings and a balcony overlooking the stream (which is pretty loud, but we thought it was nice). Bed, cupboards, bathroom are almost perfect, there is nothing to complain about. In my opinion, we even got a small discount or an upgrade when we made the reservation. meal The breakfast is really delicious and varied. Sure, more is always possible, but that was completely ok for us and at the level I would expect from three stars. At dinner you could always choose between two dishes (also starter and dessert) the night before. Here it is so that the kitchen has tried to present a high level. Unfortunately, this is not always the case, neither in the presentation nor in the taste. Once in a while I would have preferred a simple Tyrolean dish with a simpler presentation and more honest. We were full, and we were asked, at least once, if we would like a second helping. As they say in Germany "Schuster stick to your last". Dinner expandable! The service/staff/atmosphere How do we say: "they made an effort" The staff was attentive, the rooms were always very tidy and clean. I describe the handling of the guests as "businesslike friendly". And this is where my main criticism of the hotel comes in: I have often stayed in South Tyrol and, in addition to the landscape, I love the people there, they are so warm, open and nice. In this hotel I miss the warmth, the openness, the atmosphere that I otherwise know from the region. Example: we saw the boss on arrival, then again on the day of departure. I know from other hotels in the region that the host joins the guests for a few minutes in the evening, here there is no such thing. On the day of departure I wanted to pay at 08:45 in the morning. The reception was not manned... When I asked the staff it said "the boss is doing it and he's still asleep, he'll be there at 9:30". He came down straight away and I was able to settle accounts, but there was no small talk here either, I wasn't even asked how I liked the week. Another saying from Germany "the fish always starts to stink at the head" That's not meant to be a rant, but I think if the chef set a good example here and conveyed more atmosphere and warmth, then the staff would also go along with it and it would be an absolutely recommendable hotel. So unfortunately only 3 rating stars from me. I hope the boss reads this and tries to work on it, then I can only recommend the address.

Buon cibo invece a colazione.Parcheggio lungo la strada. E aggiungo da ultimo SI PAGA IN CONTANTI O CON BONIFICO.
I think I didn't like anything. But being a short and last minute stay I only found availability here. Only Alex the smiling manager or owner is saved. Small old room with bad smelling carpet. Uncomfortable bed with hard pillows that they even gave me a headache! Spa area and swimming pool really badly made, obsolete and cold. Plus in the afternoon they become impractical due to the amount of people who arrive for such small spaces. With half board we had dinner in the hotel. The food seemed heated or from the day before. of the waitresses very hasty and not very attentive to the anticovid rules, such as masks lowered during the service even when we were eating and we weren't wearing masks. Good food instead for breakfast. Parking along the street. And finally I add YOU PAY IN CASH OR BY BANK TRANSFER.
