★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good things: the room was clean. The food was good. The service was ok. The shuttle service to the lift worked well.
Bad things: the room was very small, hard to fit in skiing gear for two people. Bad pillows. Very thin walls so sleep disturbed by people passing or children running in the hallways outside, or above/below. Many families with wild, unsupervised children made breakfast and dinner in the dining room an extremely noisy business. Sometimes it was even difficult to talk because of the noise! One of us even got tinnitus attacks from the dining room. The service was ok, even though they often got confused about what we had ordered etc. since most of the serving staff only speak Italian. The ’wellness area’ was also full of kids, so not very relaxing. The worst thing during our stay was the ’gala night’ on the Thursday; slow dinner in front of a show including half-naked dancers. We wish we’d gone out for dinner that night.

Our rooms were big and different from one another but somehow we both liked them, the breakfast was just amazing and the staff very friendly. The location of the hotel makes it a perfect choice either for summer and/or winter tourists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok let's get something out there at the start...the food isn't the best but they try hard and if the waiting staff aren't serving you, you'll find them cleaning your room, serving in the bar or behind the bar in the night club.
The hotel bar is fine and a top tip you can get a very well made cocktail for 50 cents more than a beer!
The rooms are adequate, clean, warm and the shower worked a treat.
On Thursday, they close the hotel restaurant and put on a gala evening. Which was great fun. The service might be a bit slow but the performers put on a good show - you just have to go with it.
As for the skiing, the ski bus stop is just outside the hotel and only a few minutes in either direction to Canazei and Campitello. Once up the mountain, the skiing is great. They really look after the snow with plenty of snow making to keep the pistes topped up.
All in all, a great hotel and a great ski area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here as part of a Crystal Ski holiday. The Hotel was great, the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent value for money (4 courses every night as part of our half board package). The hotel is 10 minutes from the centre of Canazei, but for skiers the hotel runs a free shuttle starting at 815 in the morning to the Canazei ski lift, which was a massive plus!
