★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant serves delicious Tuscan food. I've noted that the parmigiano they serve with the pasta is excellent (very tasty unlike the parmigiano you find in many other Italian restaurants). The waiter was very kind and gave us a shot of limoncello.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a little gem near where we are staying. It is very warm and welcoming and has the feel of a family run restaurant. We started with the crostini which comes with five different toppings (chopped liver was our favorite) and had two pasta dishes as well as half a carafe of the house wine. Everything was excellent and the portions were extremely generous. The prices were quite reasonable as well. We will return at least once before we leave Florence, this thing trying the meat dishes and desert.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best meal we’ve had in Italy thus far - so different from the usual pastas and pizzas (which are great nevertheless). Tried the artichoke chickpea polenta, broccoli flan, vegetable soup, pesto gnocchi and broccoli pasta in spicy tomato sauce - all excellent. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled into this place by accident after watching the sunset at Piazzale Michelangelo.. The house red wine was great. ALL of the food we had was delicious - the spinach & ricotta dumplings, the carbonara with boar, the tripe, and stuffed rabbit with peas. Tiramisu was heavenly. The server was wonderful. This place exceeded all of our expectations. We will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place seems like a local restaurant, but is only a short walk across the river from the city center and is on the way to great views at Michelangelo Square.
The food was fantastic and the service was friendly and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing restaurant! Great atmosphere and spacious. I had the tagliatelle with duck ragu. I only wished that their bread basket would contain fresher bread. Other than that, this is a superb place with great portions.
