★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Menu turistico da 20€, Ampia sala e disponibilità di posto. Pane buono. Cibo sufficiente, avremmo volentieri speso di più per qualcosa con più gusto e personalità. Ma di domenica senza prenotazione Melfi non offre molte alternative.
 Tourist menu from € 20, large room and availability of seats. Good bread. Sufficient food, we would have gladly spent more on something with more taste and personality. But on Sundays without a reservation Melfi does not offer many alternatives.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto carino, ci siamo trovati qui a pranzo il giorno di ogni santi, menù fisso e fino a qui tutto bene. Eravamo con degli amici ed eravamo approdati in questo ristorante con l’intenzione di mangiare qualcosa di tipico del posto. Andava tutto bene sino a che una delle cameriere che ci hanno servito, senza neanche preavvisarci, si è presentata con un secondo alternativo diverso da quello ordinato. Alla nostra richiesta di spiegazioni ci hanno detto che i secondi che avevamo scelto erano finiti e senza darci ulteriori soluzioni. A questo punto ci siamo permessi qualche rimostranza, alla quale la gentile cameriera ha risposto che stavamo intralciando il servizio. Ovvio è, che tale cameriera dovrebbe ritornare al punto 0, della scuola alberghiera, caso mai l’avesse mai frequentata. In ogni caso la situazione è stata salvata da ben altro personale ben istruito che ha cercato di calmare la situazione, portandoci un secondo ben più simile a quello ordinato.
Nice place, we found ourselves here for lunch on every saints day, fixed menu and so far so good. We were with friends and we arrived at this restaurant with the intention of eating something typical of the place. Everything was fine until one of the waitresses who served us, without even warning us, showed up with a second alternative other than the one ordered. At our request for explanations we were told that the seconds we had chosen were over and without giving us further solutions. At this point we allowed ourselves some grievances, to which the kind waitress replied that we were hindering the service. It is obvious that this waitress should return to point 0, of the hotel school, if she ever attended it. In any case, the situation was saved by quite another well-educated staff who tried to calm the situation, bringing us a second much more similar to the one ordered.
