Poco professionali sia Hertz che l'agenzia Toskana Service. In data primo ottobre prenoto un furgone (uno dei più grandi che erano disponibili sul sito). Dopo qualche ora mi chiama una signorina dicendomi che tale furgone non era disponibile, non sarebbe rientrato, e per questo era disponibile solamente uno più piccolo. Chiaramente, avendo già preso impegni non ho potuto far altro che accettare. Arrivato in agenzia all'ora concordata, dopo la solita lunga attesa mi sono sentito dire che il furgone non era disponibile in quanto c'era un blocco di qualche tipo (non era stato fatta la revisione). La ragazza dopo una mezz'ora di discussione con qualcuno al telefono, in lacrime mi ha detto che non avrebbe potuto darmi nessun mezzo. Avevo molto da dire sulla vicenda ma visto che la ragazza dell'accettazione era ovviamente incolpevole e già provata dall'accaduto, me ne sono andato senza dire niente. La cosa bella arriva quando vedo anche addebitata la cifra di 124,68 euro sulla mia carta. Ovviamente l'agenzia riversa la responsabilità su Hertz che è impossibile da contattare telefonicamente (per questo tipo di pratiche), ho scritto un'email al servizio per i rimborsi. Al momento di certo c'è che loro mi hanno accreditato la cifra e io ho dovuto rimandare un appuntamento con altri professionisti.
Both Hertz and the Toskana Service agency are unprofessional. On 1st October I book a van (one of the largest that was available on the site). After a few hours a young lady calls me and tells me that this van was not available, it would not come back, and for this reason only a smaller one was available. Clearly, having already made commitments, I could not help but accept. Arrived at the agency at the agreed time, after the usual long wait I was told that the van was not available as there was a block of some kind (the overhaul had not been done). After half an hour of discussion with someone on the phone, the girl told me in tears that she could not give me any means. I had a lot to say about the story but since the acceptance girl was obviously innocent and already tried by what happened, I left without saying anything. The nice thing comes when I also see the amount of 124.68 euros charged to my card. Obviously the agency transfers the responsibility to Hertz which is impossible to contact by phone (for this type of practice), I wrote an email to the refund service. At the moment it is certain that they credited me with the amount and I had to postpone an appointment with other professionals.

Esperienza PESSIMA!!!!!!!! Ho preso una Panda a noleggio per avere lasciato la mia auto a fare il tagliando. Il Sig. GUSTAVO mi ha addebitato senza dirmelo prima, la cifra di euro 186, premetto che il prezzo del noleggio era 65 euro, a garanzia. Dopo aver chiesto il motivo, scocciato ha risposto che erano bloccati fino alla restituzione dell'auto la sera. Così non è stato!!!! Devo aspettare dei giorni, che non sanno dirmi neanche loro, per riavere dei soldi miei, e di cui non ero stata informata soprattutto, per poter scegliere liberamente se lasciargli i MIEI SOLDI per giorni indefiniti o meno!!!!!!!!! La HERTZ pessima, ma il Sig. GUSTAVO ancora peggio ,perché avrebbe dovuto informarmi e non lo ha fatto

Do not rent here. Rented an automatic to drive south and made online reservation for 10AM. At 11AM, they still had no car. Told us they had to wait for someone to bring the car back and it wasn’t here. Completely missed the afternoon’s plans and cost us €400 in prepaid reservations.

First we paid extra for Alfa Romeo Giulia or similar - we received something not even in the same class - they didn’t even have a Giulia in that location . We had to pay extra for them to turn on navigation system - Being only ones there; the service took forever. We rented from Sixt in the first leg of trip and service and quality was all around better and navigation was included.

We had a great experience renting from here. We had a reservation for pick at 11:00. We were helped immediately by Gustavo who also explained how to return the car in the city center of Florence by drawing it out on a map since GPS navigation is normally wrong. He also checked the car with us for damage and noted the faults in the vehicle. Would rent from here again.

Really poor experience with this Hertz point. I was given a car which had not even been cleaned from the previous client. The body was really dirty and it even had empty plastic bottles and other rubbish inside. Also, I found the staff the staff quite rude. No idea whatsoever as to how to deal with clients professionally. Avoid if you can.

Similar poor experience to what others have shared with this Hertz. We showed up with a reservation that we paid more premium dollar for and ended up with a car not even in our class, the representative behind the counter was quite rude. I understand this type of job can come with a lot of annoyances from customers but we have dealt with much better service from the likes of other rental places as well as Hertz at other locations within Europe and North America. There seems to be a running theme with issues with Italy Hertz locations. Has anyone had any luck with reimbursements of any sort when it comes to poor customer service or not receiving the class of car you expected?
