★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great campsite on a really good location very close to the Rome ring road. Nice staff, and great pool with attentive pool attendant. Easy to get to Rome, either by the bus provided by the campsite or by driving into the city ourselves and take public transport. Recommended!

Pros:
1-free shuttle to the train station, then 20min ride to Rome for 1.5€/person, best to leave the car in the camping!
2-nice and welcoming staff, clean toilets and showers, big pitches if you ask for one.
3- nice pool to relax after a long day walking
Cons:
1- access road could be repaired, a lot of potholes
2- water treatment station can be heard if you are staying close to the gate
3- 2 high power electric lines crossing the camping, powerplant a few km away
Overall a great stay to visit Rome, and a 20% discount if you stay over 4 nights.
We will come back.

Disliked: One of the receptionist was uperty while the other was friendly. Lots of friendly Germans. The courtesy bus only runs occasionally. Pool closed.

Would rate lower if possible
Do not be lured in by the price. ‘Caravan’ has no windows or AC. Mould in the bathrooms with no amenities such as toilet roll?? Pool remains closed for an extended time because they won’t hire a lifeguard. No supermarket yet there is one advertised? Restaurant doesn't open until 6 mon-fri, but ALSO no cooking facilities. For the extra money it takes getting to Rome you could get a perfectly good place in City.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reasonable site and very good value with good shuttle service to Prima Porta for transfer onto metro to get into Rome. Toilet and showers clean but a bit dated. No toilet paper or soap. The pitches are on five levels.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely camp site, settled in terrace and totally green and tranquil. Large pitches (we have a camper 7,5 m long). The camp site market offers the basics, do not forget to order your bread for next day. The staff is helpful. Showers / toilet clean, a bit old but all is working. Shower is brilliant, hot water!
The Shuttle bus (departing 09.00 or 11.00, 14.00) takes you to Prima Porta (free of charge) and there take a train to Rome. Super convenient.
