Non discuto che la grotta debba rimanere chiusa, ma questo andrebbe segnalato nei vari siti che ne parlano. Altrimenti di boschi ne è piena l'Italia. La grotta si può vedere da fuori dove, l unica targa, esalta che il sito fa parte del patrimonio artistico. Sulla grotta non una sillaba. Sarebbe stato più gradito trovare una targa che illustrasse la storia della grotta. The path is beautiful. At the top there is a bit of disappointment. All'interno si trovano alcuni affreschi, uno dei quali rappresenta l'Arcangelo Michele e un altare. Tranquillità assoluta e relax, peccato che l'eremo sia chiuso e non è segnalato da nessuna parte ne il motivo ne eventuali orari di apertura. È un po' ingiusto anche perché non è una passeggiatina, ma 15/20 minuti di camminata. Tutto il contesto è cmq molto bello, ma venirci da lontano non vale la pena. Trasmette quiete questo posto e molti i dettagli carini mentre si procede: dalla vasca di acqua appena si prende il sentiero, allabbraccio dei monti verdi dello scorcio che affianca il cammino, alla stradina rossastra del fogliame del bosco. Giunti ai piedi della grotta colpisce il tavolo da picnic che sembra invitare ad una sosta solitaria. Spiccano le pareti rocciose a sinistra, dove si fa arrampicata e contrastano con la vegetazione incontrata. Scalini in pietra contestualizzati perfettamente al posto fanno salire fino alla grotta. Piccolo l'ingresso: io ho trovato chiuso, ma dall'inferriata si vede la struttura interna e si intravedono le pitture su roccia.
