★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was my first experience with the ferry, I did liked. liked the facilities, layout of the port the staff were okay.
the worst thing happened to me which I cannot forget it until now I lost my favorite jacket, it was a gift from my brother and I cannot remember where I lost it and I remember the police or security check might be them who take it.

Huge issues with cleaning. Even in the expensive suites.
Few restaurants were closed during COVID restrictions. And food quality was below average (but not expensive)
We departed in time but arrived 1.5h beyond the schedule.
P.S. look for tickets on their official web site. Sometimes you can find promo codes there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unclear policies and little willingness to assist in working out solutions wasn't enough. They had to be rude and unpleasant on top of that. (But I don't blame the lady at the counter. Everyone is always yelling at her and I'd be in a foul mood too.) Bravo Grimaldi!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not use Grimaldi with children. There is no where to get water heated for a babies milk, except in the very short times the self service restaurant is open. Also, the MV Cruise Barcelona's childrens pkayroom was closed for the entire trip. Bad food, filthy cabins, very unhappy staff, many advertised onboard facilities closed. We took both the MV Roma, and Barcelona, identical ships. Bkth departed and arrived very late. A nightmare to travel with a young child.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrendous. Worst organisation ever. More than 5h delay for no reason, no safety and understaffed. They were rude and unhelpful. Expensive and poor food options. Avoid at all cost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yesterday night had the worst experience in my life, the 3 persona working in the night shift in the Ticketline, are the most rude i ever Saw. Worst customer service.
They said or reservation was expired at 20:00h when the boat online leaves at 3 AM to Barcelona.
People that dont want to work, and that never would be working in a customer service.
The guy started to Scream with US because wanted to go home at 1:30 am and no work, when the boarding to the boat was just starting.
I Will never again travel with Grimaldi. Prefer go by road than suport this company with no values on the people they hire.
Serious i never had such a bad experience and I also work with customer service and public.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff in the office are polite and helpful, but the ones on the ship are beyond any belief. Dirty cabins, bored and rude stewards, bad food. And all of this in the low season! I can imagine how it is in July-August.

Friendly English-speaking staff both at the check-in and onboard
Beautiful public spaces. Like a small version of a cruise ship. Pool and gym included.
Note that the disembarkation point is in the middle of nowhere, esp as it was after dark. Zero visibility of taxis or any public transport inside the dock area.
It is walkable from the ferry terminal into Civitavecchia tho the route is not obvious
