Very nice hotel with private beach, restaurant and spa. Friendly atmosphere and good service.

We paid 175euro per night for a small room and no saune opened, no pool. It is really expansive at this location. The small town is also ugly! Very bad experience!

Stay at Grand hotel Therme in Margeritta di Savoia, Puglia To start, the hotel was a surprising find via internet. Good quality furnishings, big, cozy queensize bed and clean room and facilities. Pretty much expected from a four star establishment. Now where does this hotel shine? Their staff, starting with Tiziana from the reception who answered all our questions in a timely manner, continuing with the manager who always did his best and provide us with anything we either forgot or lost (a noteworthy addition would be that the hotel was really generous and offered us a bottle of prosecco once they found out it was my wife's birthday), and last but not least Gerardo, who was our waiter in the hotel restaurant, always ready to accomodate all if any of our wishes and always there with a joke or a smile. Additionally he tried to provide us with information on the local points of interest which unfortunately we were not able to visit, but maybe next time, who knows. Besides the hotel staff, as we experinced some rainy days, we explored the hotel facilities and here the hotel is in a league of it's own, with private thermal baths separated by gender; Since it is a beach front property a very large private beach (free entry and sun beds for hotel guests) for those sun filled days and not to mention the roof top restaurant with excellent food (many dishes specific to the Puglia region) and a generous panoramic view over the bay of Manfredonia. I should mention that we were travelling with an 8 month old baby and the hotel staff was very accomodating with our requests regarding the baby providing us with every comfort to make our stay a memorable one. I heartly recommend this property for either a base of operations to visit the north part of Puglia or as a sea side location with good food, great amneties and amazing people.
