★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sea view is a misrepresentation!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTING!! The "sea view" side of the hotel faces straight into an UGLY high rise apartment building. The "sea view" can ONLY be seen from the corners of the balcony. The breakfast staff was unfriendly, never smiled or made eye contact. They didn't replace empty trays of food in a timely manner. The coffee barista stopped exactly at the 10:00 close, maybe a few minutes earlier by my watch. This is NOT a class act hotel and doesn't deserve it's rating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel not recommended at all. The only good thing of it is the location. The fare is way too high for what it offers.
They made you take the room with breakfast, which is unfair plus they offer just an average one.
The pictures show an amazing outdoor pool and is half what it looks. They don't even use glass glasses but plastic ones.
Staff is okay-ish.
Charge of garage is very expensive and you can't even keep your keys. They move your car around as they need to.
The offer of our room mentioned a balcony which resulted having a wall in front (no view at all) and it has like 4sqm.
Honestly you can find way better places to stay around. Don't book this hotel!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent location right in the city centre and walking distance from the beach. The furniture are a bit old, but the rooms are comfortable. I would have liked a more user friendly access to the roof which is manly occupied by the restaurant, making difficult to reach the view if you’re not having dinner there. Parking is available at 9 euros/ nights which is a bit too much considering rooms rate. Bikes deposit is, on the other hand, functional and free. Staff is extremely friendly and kind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good position, next to the beach and to all services. Clean rooms and common spaces. Beautiful view from the top terrace to all the landscape around plus solarium and swimming pool on the roof, so useful.
Great breakfast with all kind of choices from salty to sweet food.

The personnel is very friendly, the hotel offers an enormous amount of wellness, an indoor pool and a terrace on top of the building with a pool and a breathtaking view over the old city, the lagoon and the Istria peninsula.
However, the concept of the hotel seems to be old-fashioned for the guest pays extra for the garage, extra for the beach, extra for...
The room concept is not up to date anymore. Who needs a bathroom with a bath with golden water taps, a bidet, indoor pool if you are next to a wonderful beach?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The stay in the Astoria was excellent as always. Breakfast delicious and dinner at the restaurant ( 7o cielo) extraordinary. The suite was spacious We will come back aß usual in September.
