Not a place to go to if you only have an afternoon here. There are many other restaurants nearby, albeit with more expensive menus. The service was perhaps the greatest disappointment with uninspiring staff, that I suspect would rather be at home than at work. The starter and steak were easier the highlights amongst a very mediocre cast of spaghetti, pizza, and risotto. The ice cream was nice, but you can get it outside the restaurant. Skip this.

Poor service and tasteless food. Waiters were not attentive felt a bit like they judged us as being "not good enough" to eat at their establishment. Menu is overpriced considering that the presentation of dishes was minimal to poor. 20£ for a chicken breast dish with roast potatoes just to get something that the IKEA bistro would serve for 3.50 is honestly shocking.

Great location and delicious food, however the prices are too high and the portions are too small!

Where to start… - we were seated in the far back of the place, right by the kitchen, and were able to hear the staff having heated discussions in the back… - a guest who was with me ordered a salad and a portion of spaghetti. The spaghetti were served alone and we had to ask if the salad was forgotten… later it got served and had to be eaten after the spaghetti… - I was provided with a napkin and a fork… but had to ask for a knife. - I ordered a bruschetta as a starter, followed by my main. The time between serving the two was that long, my two guests I was with, finished their food before I got my main (which was only a pizza!) - that’s how long I had to wait! - in my opinion, this place is overpriced and the quality fresh - but mediocre! (Total Tourist-Trap, probably just because it’s located nearby the Duomo) - I had to ask the same servant FOUR times, if he could provide me with the WiFi-PW… and I’m still waiting… I guess it’s fair to say that I won’t recommend this place. It might be more suitable for breakfast, and it’s a pretty local too - but not with this quality of service!

The worst Cheeseburger and Tiramisu I ever eat ! We had very bad expérience at this place. The service is not good and the quality of food is very low. The burger had no taste and barely not cooked, the salad and the bolognese tagliatelle were just eatable and the Tiramisu had taste of butter. To sum up with, we were disapointed and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and especially for tourists ! There is nothing italien about this restaurant.

Ice-cream was awful, very grainy, I'd rather donate those 20€ to a homeless person. Service doesn't speak English either. I said we needed "a small one", we got the medium ones (which are 3 € more expensive). We had to throw the ice-cream away.

Simply operates off the volume of tourists in the area. Overpriced (10€ for 2 coffees), inattentive staff, refrained from ordering tap water as dine in guests are required to pay for bottled water. No problem for guests at the bar to be served tap water. Would have at least appreciated a ‘covid’ excuse.

Before Covid this place was exceptional for its quality/price and quality/choice ratios, both for quick and welcoming lunches and for events. Prices consistent with the location. Then the crisis hit Milan and all locales, from luxury to cheap, paid a severe price. I saw this process here at the Granaio a year ago and then again today. However, the service was speedy, courteous and accurate. The burgers were good and so was the Chianti. The outside armchairs need to be redone, but they were well heated. PS: What the heck does it mean "it's expensive"? Prices are printed in the doorway and repeated on the menus they bring you at the table. just don't go. And give us a break. ;)
