★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ate at the bistro on a cold, rainy evening in Milan. We did not have a reservation at the restaurant (which came highly recommended by one of the greatest winemakers in Italy) and so were seated at the bistro, but that was fine as we were just looking for a casual dinner. I was informed by the staff that the bistro and restaurant are on the ground floor, and separately there’s a 1-star Michelin on the first floor. Had a peek at the wine list for the restaurant — it’s extensive and there’s a amazing selection of the best Italian wines (there’s a more casual one for dinner at the bistro of course). The sommelier is knowledgeable and understanding — very, very much appreciated. I’m looking forward to dinner at the restaurant in future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve tried to enter this beautiful location in order to purchase 5/6 Panettone cakes but they rudely said... we couldn’t (?), and that’s without any logical reason. Apparently there was a mysterious problem at the register (?) and the blond lady at the door told us: “come later, like half an hour, 1 hour… we don’t know”. No apologies, not the world "sorry", not even a little chocolate offered for kicking customers out. And that’s the most renowned, elegant restaurant in Milan! Not Naples. The question is: if we were not able to pay for bakery items how could all the people sitting there pay for their checks? Why letting them stay and sending us out?There is nothing worst than impolitely reject customers ready to spend their money. At least this the rule in New York and the civilised world.
High standard location with a clear lack of manners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibly delicious dishes. It is really an amazing experience to dining here in terms of taste, texture of dishes and restaurant’s ambiance. Especially I fall in love with tagliatelle -his signature dish- which is marinated for 9 hours and peach dessert. ? thanks a lot Carlo cracco for creating and serving these amazing tastes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was very good. Ambience was excellent. The garden is an incredible dining area. Service was inconsistent. This restaurant is in a fantastic location and the interior garden is beautiful. Some dishes were excellent others were just 'ok'. The service staff is friendly but some of them seem to be very green. Simple requests were met with blank stares or outright denials. Not what I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber and pricepoint. An overcooked steak was sent back and not delivered until 20 minutes after everyone else had finished eating their main courses. It could have been an "off" night. Worth trying again, especially seated at a garden table.

When you spend that much you expect definitely more than what you get.
The food is good…but not enough for a 2 Michelin stars restaurant.
The atmosphere is amazing and service very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two of us dined at the beautiful gastronomic restaurant upstairs.
The kitchen staff prepared an eleven courses vegan tasting menu for myself as a special request.
Quality ingredients skillfuly exalted by delicate flavours, elegant contrasts and unique presentations.
Accurate wine pairing.
It's definitely an experience worth waiting for. Classic Milanese with a modern twist.
The service has room for improvement (since the booking confirmation weeks earlier until the moment when we sat at our table they kept assuming that my girlfriend was the vegan person instead of me. They consequently mismatched the fist course too but quickly reverted). Unusually informal service compared to other restaurants of similar level - and it's definitely a positive note - ideally breaking walls between haute cuisine and the public.
Overall well deserved five stars. We will definitely come back.
Chef Cracco passed by our table several times and we had the chance to comment the dinner for a few minutes with him, just enough to realise how fame and popularity did not touch his humbleness and work ethic (with outstanding results).
