★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are bigger and more locally famous 'bar-tavola calda' on Via Etnea in Catania but none of them can touch the authentic, delicious foods and friendly service at Caffe' Pam Pam. I have had lunch or dinner there daily for the last several days and every time it has been a culinary delight and relaxing experience. Reasonable prices and a wide assortment of typical Sicilian lunch or dinner snacks and pastries make this place a must if you're hungry and need a quick meal in Catania.

critical reviews. Snacks are of good quality, service is not super fast, but friendly and, relatively, efficient. As other venues in the quite central neighborhood, the spot is frequented by tourist and locals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly and attentive service. One waiter spoke English well. I highly recommend the Cannoli here. The shell is fresh and has a hard chocolate layer inside. The pistachio creme was very nice. I enjoyed the cappuccino as well. You'll have to choose your food inside like a bakery.
