Very nice and isolated place especially during the week. Few tourists and a beautiful mountain landscape of pine trees and larch trees resting on meadows of Erica flowers. Even the walk up to the lake is beautiful and not binding, even by bike

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lago poco conosciuto, bisogna parcheggiare quasi sulla strada principale e farsi una mezz’ora di cammino sul sentiero 17 ben segnalato! La passeggiata è molto carina come il lago, ma non mi ha impressionato!
Lake little known, almost have to park on the main road and take a half hour walk on the path 17 well signposted! The walk is very pretty like the lake, but it didn't impress me!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein sehr idyllischer, aber auch kleiner See. Der Weg zum See verläuft, lang und holprig, aber dafür liegt der See recht abgeschieden und ist genau richtig für ein paar ruhige Minuten, z.B. für ein gemütliches Picknick. Wanderer sollten unbedingt den See mit einem Besuch der nahen Rotwand verbinden. Das ist für viele wahrscheinlich der wahre Höhepunkt!!
A very idyllic but also small lake. The way to the lake is long and bumpy, but the lake is quite secluded and is just right for a few quiet minutes, e.g. for a cozy picnic. Hikers should definitely combine the lake with a visit to the nearby Rotwand. This is probably the real highlight for many !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easily one of the most beautiful small ponds that I know about, and is about 40 minutes away from the nearest street / parking spot. Also a great spot to go swimming during the summer, and hiking all year around. I recommend taking a map or somebody who knows the area or has already been there, since its somewhat easy to get lost there and cell reception isn't reliable.
