.. si chiama Pasquale.. un minuscolo puntino in una spiaggia deserta di Giulianova... lui e il mare.. quel mare che d'inverno ti instilla dentro una pace infinita' o una struggente malinconia..Ma lui è sempre lì, tempo permettendo con la sua sedia.. con gli occhi dello stesso colore di quel mare e guardandolo da lontano vorresti "darle un euro" per conoscere i suoi pensieri..Ha quasi 93 anni Pasquale ma non li dimostra.. ti avvicini e hai quasi paura di invadere la sua privacy ma poi lui ti saluta e si alza da quella sedia. si avvicina con quella cordialità che contraddistingue la gente abruzzese.. tu lo saluti e come un vecchio amico ti chiede se vuoi sentire la storia della sua vita e tu che arrivi da una regione dove non sei abituata a questo calore accetti.Pasquale è un fiume di parole.. i suoi occhi brillano quando ti "snocciola" quella che è stata la sua giovinezza.. e brillano ancora di più quando ti fa vedere i suoi tesori.. quelle foto che racchiudono in pochi scatti le emozioni di una vita intera.. grazie Pasquale..la tua è stata una lezione di vita.. non serve salire in cattedra ma basta una sedia.. la spiaggia deserta e il mare.. Avevo sentito parlare di te.. sono venuta altre volte ma non ti avevo mai incontrato.. io sono convinta che niente succede per caso..adesso era il momento giusto. alla prossima Pasquale..
PS: Pasquale quasi tutti i giorni con la sua auto percorre un bel po' di km per raggiungere il litorale giuliese..

.. it's called Pasquale .. a tiny dot in a deserted beach in Giulianova ... he and the sea .. that sea that in winter instills you in an infinite peace 'or a poignant melancholy .. But he is always there, time permitting with his chair .. with the eyes of the same color of that sea and looking at him from afar you would like to "give her a euro" to know his thoughts .. He is almost 93 years old Pasquale but does not show them .. you get close and you have almost afraid to invade his privacy but then he greets you and gets up from that chair. approaches with the friendliness that distinguishes the people of Abruzzo .. you greet him and like an old friend he asks you if you want to hear the story of his life and you who come from a region where you are not used to this heat accept. Easter is a river of words .. his eyes shine when he "rattles off" what his youth has been .. and they shine even more when he shows you his treasures .. those photos that contain the emotions of a whole life in a few shots. thanks Pasquale..your was a life lesson .. you don't need to get on the chair but you just need a chair .. the deserted beach and the sea .. I had heard of you .. I came other times but I never had you met .. I am convinced that nothing happens by chance .. now was the right time. to the next Easter ..
PS: Pasquale almost every day with his car travels a good bit of km to reach the Julian coast ..
