★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I modenesi non lo chiamano "giardini pubblici" ma parco delle rimembranze per il monumento ai caduti. Molto alberato e ombroso che in estate aiuta a sopportare l'afa. Infatti essendo percorso da due strade di grande traffico l'aria è sempre mossa... ma inquinata!
 The people of Modena do not call it "public gardens" but a place of remembrance for the war memorial. Very tree-lined and shady, which in summer helps withstand the heat. In fact, being crossed by two high-traffic roads, the air is always rough ... but polluted!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purtroppo il parco non è proprio tenuto curato come dovrebbe... un bel monumento ai caduti della prima guerra mondiale e poco altro. Non è sempre agevole trovare da parcheggiare nelle vicinanze ed essendo collocato tra strade di notevole scorrimento l'aria che si respira non è "ottimale" :-(
Unfortunately, the park is not really kept as well as it should ... a beautiful monument to the fallen of the First World War and little else. It is not always easy to find parking nearby and being located between roads of considerable flow, the air you breathe is not "optimal" :-(

Great for the day but in the evening it is better not to go if not in a group. There is a bal bar / cafe and in the summer the stage with music.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent piece of natural public land a few blocks from center. Poorly maintained. City could attract more tourists to lounge and picnic while watching everyday Modenese stroll about. Instead of a 1/2 day stop, tourists may make Modena a full day stop. Classic example of Italian municipalities failing to make their public parks in prime locations a top priority.
