★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Chiesa Parrocchiale Gesù Divino Maestro, situata a Roma in Via Vittorio Montiglio, 18 a pochi metri dall'ospedale Policlinico A. Gemelli. Si affaccia su una zona verde della Regione Lazio con vista mozzafiato della cupola di San Pietro. E' un complesso molto interessante. La Chiesa costruita nel 1967 e voluta da San Paolo VI, ha una forma circolare con un altare di marmo bianco massiccio. Oltre all'altare si nota una vetrata artistica che accoglie il tabernacolo in bronzo raffigurante la cena di Emmaus. Altro elemento notevole è il leggio sempre di marmo massiccio impreziosite da decorazioni in oro. E poi la via Crucis in bronzo, come il portale di ingresso ricco di simbologie. Un luogo sacro veramente interessante. Adiacente c'è una delle poche scuole materne gestite dalle parrocchie del Vicariato di Roma. Inoltre abbiamo un campo da calcio, un parcheggio, ma quello che conta, tanti fedeli parrocchiali che frequentano e vivono il loro credo.
The Parish Church of Gesù Divino Maestro, located in Rome in Via Vittorio Montiglio, 18 a few meters from the A. Gemelli Polyclinic hospital. It overlooks a green area of the Lazio Region with a breathtaking view of the dome of San Pietro. It is a very interesting complex. The church built in 1967 and commissioned by St. Paul VI, has a circular shape with an altar of solid white marble. In addition to the altar, there is an artistic stained glass window that houses the bronze tabernacle depicting the Emmaus supper. Another noteworthy element is the lectern always in solid marble embellished with gold decorations. And then the bronze Way of the Cross, like the entrance portal rich in symbols. A truly interesting sacred place. Adjacent is one of the few nursery schools run by the parishes of the Vicariate of Rome. We also have a football field, a parking lot, but what matters, many parish faithful who attend and live their creed.

Mass is celebrated:
Weekdays 7:30 (not summer), 9:00 and 18:30 (19:00 in summer);
Sundays and Solemnities 8:30, 10:00, 11:15 (not summer), 12:30 (not summer), 18:30 (19:00 in summer).
Lauds is celebrated at 8:00 and 9:30 (it is unusual for a church to have two times for one celebration of the Divine Office).
Rosary is at 18:00, followed by Vespers at 19:00.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place on Thursdays from 9:30 to 12:30, and 15:30 to 18:30.
The circular church was designed by Carlo Bevilacqua, and completed in 1967. It is a high-quality building for its time. In 2007, a re-fitting was undertaken which involved new entrance doors in bronze and new sanctuary furnishings by Albano Poli. In 2009 a new baptistery was blessed. Poli's sanctuary mosaic is very impressive.
