★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was friendly and the place seemed nice, so we decided to get a cup of gelato on our way to the piazza. The price was only 4 euro for two scoops, cream and biscuit, but here's the problem- it was so bland and with very bad consistency that neither me nor my boyfriend wanted to eat it and we had to throw it away. It was just not worth it, would not recommend.

The staffer charged me 3.50 for a cannoli clearly marked 3.00, and billed me an extra .50 for each of the four macarons I purchased. At times like this I wish I had a better command of the Italian language.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our worst experience in Rome. The manager/owner was a racist a$$hat. (We are Asian Americans) Our vaccination cards showed we were fully vaccinated and boosted but he would not let us eat our gelato on premise. We have zero problems in Paris and the rest of our time in Rome. This guy is precisely what is wrong with the world. Do not come here ever! There are much better places in Rome for gelato or a cup of coffee. Don’t be fooled by the nice exterior and interior as you walk by, this is a very toxic place. Old Bridge Gelateria, next to Vatican is the best gelato we had in Rome

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible service from the manager/cashier. He was very rude and annoyed by everything I said or asked. After 10 minutes of waiting at the bar in front of him, being ignored while he attended other tables, I was asked to sit at the table and wait some more. The level of English was very bad too.
