Cibo squisito e abbondante, personale gentilissimo, mi sono sentito a casa...grazie! I was in Catania for a few days and by chance I took something for lunch, result ... I went back two more times! Delicious and abundant food, very kind staff, I felt at home ... thank you!

A family-run company that puts quality and service first, leaving no room for doubt or compromise ... I can dare to say that it is one of the best gastronomy in Catania where cooking is still considered art ... the quality ratio price is nothing short of exceptional ... Gianluca (the cook) who has inherited the special qualities of the Father, works with passion and with products of the highest quality ... uses local and artisanal products ... homemade pasta etc .. . With my great pleasure I am happy that the tradition of the TORCISI family is being carried on by these young people !!!

Il banco gastronomia offre una vasta scelta di cibo tipico e il personale molto gentile ti espone tutto nei dettagli e ti consiglia. Noi abbiamo preso una pasta alla norma, calamaro fritto ripieno,.. Puoi mangiare lì oppure prendere da asporto. La pasta me la immaginavo diversamente a livello di gusto, per il resto prezzo onesto e servizio ospitale, magari torneremo per assaggiare di nuovo la pasta e gli altri piatti! The showcase intrigued us a lot and we went inside .. The deli counter offers a wide choice of typical food and the very kind staff explains everything in detail and advises you. We took pasta alla norma, stuffed fried squid, .. You can eat there or take takeaway. I imagined pasta differently in terms of taste, for the rest honest price and hospitable service, maybe we will come back to taste the pasta and other dishes again!

Long form: I stumbled across Torcisi as I was looking for a lunch place. After seeing a few with minimal people inside, I saw Torcisi with a working crew in for lunch. You’re greeted kindly at the door and then walked through their offerings for the day. All of which you can see being freshly prepared in the kitchen. Select what you want to eat, the staff will plate it for you and then you are free to take it to a seat. I had a great dish of pasta Alla Norma, bread, and water for a grand total of 3 euros. You simply should not be able to eat this good for this cheap. So if you don’t care about a white table cloth or not having a waiter (and paying a coperto) do yourself a favor and try this place for lunch!!
