★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Funivia "vintage" è un po' troppo piccola, ma svolge un servizio essenziale, infatti costituisce l'unico collegamento con la bella Val di Lei, che è parte integrante del comprensorio sciistico Valchiavenna.
Purtroppo alla stazione a valle, Cima Sole, si formano spesso code interminabili, ma l'attesa vale la pena, visto lo spettacolo che offre cima Groppera all'arrivo. E da qui le due belle piste, semplici ma di soddisfazione, della Val di Lei.
Per scendere dal Groppera abbiamo due possibilità: ancora la funivia, o il famoso Canalone, bellissima pista, difficile ma ben fattibile se fortemente innevata, dove però vige l'obbligo dell'ARTVA, per la nostra sicurezza.
The "vintage" cable car is a bit too small, but it performs an essential service, in fact it constitutes the only connection with the beautiful Val di Lei, which is an integral part of the Valchiavenna ski area.
Unfortunately, at the valley station, Cima Sole, there are often endless queues, but the wait is worthwhile, given the spectacle that Cima Groppera offers upon arrival. And from here the two beautiful slopes, simple but satisfying, of the Val di Lei.
To get off the Groppera we have two possibilities: again the cable car, or the famous Canalone, a beautiful track, difficult but well feasible if heavily covered with snow, where however the transceiver is mandatory, for our safety.
