★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They don't take cards and the staff are rude and grumpy. Speaking in Italian the assistant used the familiare 'tu' with my partner instead of the formal 'Lei' as is customary in Italy between employees and customers. He offered no help, just a rant about how complicated taking cards would be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Orvieto funicular is really easy to use and cheap. Park at the bottom of the town by the sports stadium (parking is free) and then get the funicular up. The ticket includes the bus ride into town too but the walk is lovely and you see so much of a very beautiful town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very useful mean to reach the top of the historical city Orvieto, it’s also very cheap (the ticket costs 1,30€), while going up with the “Funicolare” you are also able to see the view of the city on the bottom.
