Avevo bisogno di sostituire due parti in ceramica refrattaria di una stufa a legna giunta ad età matura e così, consultandomi con l'addetto della ditta, mi ha consigliato l'acquisto di una lastra del materiale adatto, da tagliare su misura a casa per ottenere i due ricambi. In meno di un giorno potrò quindi completare la riparazione della mia stufa con una spesa contenuta, riuscendo addirittura a farmi avanzare del materiale sufficiente per almeno una, se non due, ulteriori sostituzioni degli stessi pezzi. Per la mia stufa che è ormai fuori catalogo, procurare i ricambi originali ordinandoli alla ditta produttrice austriaca avrebbe come minimo comportato un'attesa e una spesa maggiori.
