Experience to be praised! Rosanna took some time from work to let us visit the oil mill and taste the oils even though there were only two of us and the delicate moment of work they were facing. She and Massimo masters of excellence, have transmitted true passion and love for the work they do which is evident in the DIVINE results they get in their products. The oils are all three of exceptional quality, we will not tire of making excellent advertising to our contacts. We are ready to place our next order, I think I will never buy "industrial" oil again.

Consigliatissimo!
A unique experience: two words to describe the time spent in this fantastic oil mill immersed in the countryside of Ostuni. Complete supply chain, from the single olive to the superb oils "n'alia", "oil", "ardore", lemon and chilli oil. Passion, work, dedication shines through. Massimo and his family love their work and make anyone who smells and tastes love their oils. Highly recommended!

Nice people, great hospitality, good information and excellent olio! We arrived without appointment and were welcome anyway. With English information by phone by sommelier Antonella we could understand everything: grazie mille!

We had a fantastic visit today at Agriolea. After a friendly welcome we were introduced to their production process and finished the tour with a tasting of the different extra virgin olive oils they produce on site from their own trees. The owners accomodated the tour in English on very short notice. Thanks a lot!

A visit to Agriolea is highly advised for anyone curious about extra virgin olive oil, from how it is made, to what the process of making the olive oil is like in Italy, to learning more about the monovarietal olives (there are over 500 types of olives grown in Italy), to a tasting of extra virgin olive oils from the more mild to most intense. Massimo is probably the best guide for learning about this--his passion for educating the public about extra virgin olive oil production shows through his detailed explanations, his willingness to answer questions, and the time he gives to share all of this on a working frantoio. If you need a translation into English, just make sure to contact them by WhatsApp in advance; we were accommodated and thanks to his assistant Giovanni for stepping in to help out. Also, the harvest starts in mid-October, so planning a stop through during the early days of autumn means there's probably a better chance of them having some time to provide such a guided visit. During our trip to Puglia this September, we stopped at a number of frantoi in the countryside, and without a doubt Massimo offered the most welcoming and in depth description of the oil making process and its history, along with guidance on how to taste olive oil, and what characteristics to look for. This is really your best chance for such a detailed guide to olive oil! (Don't forget, a high quality olive oil should be bitter, spicy and fruity.) This tour served us well on on our trip. As we visited subsequent frantoi we didn't always receive such an education, so our initial visit to Agriolea paved the way for understanding how the oil is typically made in Italy. And you'll get a fine sampling of Massimo's olive oils (he only does extra virgin) and other products. They're all phenomenal! Massimo e Giuseppe--siete grandi! Grazie per una visita eccezionale e la degustazione top. Se mai avessimo piu spazio nei bagagli ne avremmo preso alcuni litri in piu con noi. :) A la prossima, Jessica

Excellent tour of how olive oil is made and very detailed tasting as well. Massimo is clearly very passionate and was generous in his sharing of his knowledge with us. The oil also tasted quite flavorful and we bought some to bring home to the United States.

Great experience! We called them and could come by for a tour the next day. Massimo is the owner, he was assisted in giving the tour by Giovanni whose English was very good. They explained how the process of making extra vergin olive oil works and after that we tasted a couple of oils. Super nice people, very tasty olive oil and souvenirs to take home. I would highly recommend!
