D	Davide Betti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ IL sentiero dell' acqua Rossa è un percorso che si sviluppa lungo le sponde dell' omonimo fosso.Una porzione di esso si percorre direttamente all' interno del corso d' acqua nel periodo della tarda primavera fino all' estate dotandosi, naturalmente di appositi stivali impermeabili. Lungo il tratto percorribile si incrocia il ponte della Selciatella posizionato lungo la strada romana « Via Antira » proveniente dall' antica Gabi e diretta a San Gregorio da Sassola. Parte di questa antica via è percorribile all' interno del rigoglioso bosco di querce, da dove è ancora possibile scorgere gli antichi resti di mura romane e basolati. Nella porzione nord, vi è la sorgente naturale dell' acqua Rossa e seguendo il corso d' acqua a sud vi è una splendida cascata naturale. Intorno alla sorgente sono visibili alcuni resti romani di cisterne in muratura che fanno parte dell' antico complesso termale che era presente sul posto The Red water trail is a path that runs along the shores of the homonymous ditch. A portion of it runs directly inside the watercourse in the late spring to summer, endowing itself with appropriate boots waterproof. Along the passable stretch cross the Selciatella bridge located along the Roman road "Via Antira" coming from the ancient Gabi and directed to San Gregorio da Sassola. Part of this ancient road is practicable inside the luxuriant oak forest, from where it is still possible to see the ancient remains of Roman and basolato walls. In the northern portion, there is the natural spring of the Red water and following the stream to the south there is a beautiful natural waterfall. Around the spring are visible some Roman remains of masonry cisterns that are part of the ancient thermal complex that was present on the spot

Perfetto anche per esploratori a 4 zampe! Beautiful walk a few kilometers from Rome. Also suitable for less experienced walkers. When you get to the source, the landscape is magical. M	Manuela Morgani on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ci sono luoghi , spesso vicino a casa, che vale la pena conoscere e visitare ,soprattutto se hanno rilevanza storica e sono percorsi facili da trovare e percorrere. Si può parcheggiare nei pressi della legenda posta su strada,e passare oltre la sbarra di ferro posta all entrata del sentiero.Sulla destra appaiono subito 3 cisterne romane che andrebbero pulite prima, e rese accessibili dopo..un peccato lasciarle così piene di sporcizia e rovi. Seguendo il sentiero , si può scegliere al bivio (fateli entrambe fidatevi ! ) quale strada prendere,se proseguire verso le cascatelle o il ponte. Peccato per la sporcizia nel greto del torrente, portata sicuramente dall'acqua nei momenti di piena, andrebbe pulito, valorizzato.
