Dovrebbe essere segnalato con più cura per evitare che i visitatori spendano tempo ed energie inutilmente. On arrival we were turned away by a rude person who remarked that it was privately owned. S	Simone Boldi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il forte delle Rocchette fu probabilmente edificato dai pisani attorno al XII secolo come torre di avvistamento per proteggere la costa dagli attacchi dei saraceni. Nei secoli successivi la torre originaria fu inglobata in una struttura più grande di cui oggi restano elementi murari quasi intatti. Nel XVI secolo la fortificazione fu ampliata e ristrutturata trasformando l’originaria torre in una fortificazione a pianta poligonale. La torre originaria, a pianta quadrata, si trova sul lato verso terra, mentre sul lato occidentale si trova un edificio che era usato come ricovero per la guarnigione del forte, un batteria si trova all’estremità della punta rocciosa. Le tre strutture sono tra loro unite da una muraglia. The Rocchette fort was probably built by the Pisans around the 12th century as a watchtower to protect the coast from attacks by the Saracens. In the following centuries the original tower was incorporated into a larger structure of which today almost intact wall elements remain. In the 16th century the fortification was enlarged and renovated, transforming the original tower into a polygonal fortification. The original tower, with a square plan, is located on the side facing the ground, while on the western side there is a building that was used as a shelter for the garrison of the fort, a battery is located at the end of the rocky tip. The three structures are joined together by a wall.

Die Bucht hat klares Wasser und man kann dort schwimmen und schnorcheln. The castle is privately owned and the area is fenced. From Bagno Rocchette you can get over the cliffs to the castle. The bay has clear water and you can swim and snorkel there.
