S	Sandro Emilio Pais on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il palazzo in sé è magnifico. Ma la cosa più incredibile è ciò che ospita: la Collezione Verzocchi. Nel 1949 Giuseppe Verzocchi, imprenditore locale operante nel settore dei materiali refrattari, contattò settantadue artisti della prima e della seconda generazione del Novecento, a cui commissionò un dipinto a ciascuno. Nel farlo pose tre condizioni: il tema (il lavoro), il formato, (cm 70x90) e infine l'inserimento nel dipinto dell'immagine di un mattone refrattario con l'iscrizione 'V&D', sigla dei soci dell'azienda (Giuseppe Verzocchi e Ottavio Vittorio De Romano). Questa Collezione è un unicum, che meriterebbe attenzioni da tutto il mondo. Peccato infatti che sia ingiustamente poco conosciuta persino agli stessi forlivesi. Gentilissima e molto preparata la guida che ho incontrato al piano superiore, dove sono ospitate altre sale dedicate ad artisti locali che non fanno parte della Collezione. The palace itself is magnificent. But the most incredible thing is what it hosts: the Verzocchi Collection. In 1949 Giuseppe Verzocchi, a local entrepreneur operating in the refractory materials sector, contacted seventy-two artists of the first and second generation of the twentieth century, to whom he commissioned a painting to each. In doing so he placed three conditions: the theme (the work), the format (70x90 cm) and finally the inclusion in the painting of the image of a refractory brick with the inscription 'V&D', initials of the company partners (Giuseppe Verzocchi and Ottavio Vittorio De Romano ). This collection is unique, which deserves attention from all over the world. In fact, it is a pity that it is unfairly little known even to the Forlì people themselves. The guide I met on the upper floor, where other rooms dedicated to local artists who are not part of the Collection, are very kind and well prepared.
D	Daniele Baraccani on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fa rabbia,fa rabbia davvero,perché un museo così bello é praticamente sconosciuto. Questo Museo ospita la Collezione Verzocchi e la Pinacoteca Civica. La Collezione Verzocchi comprende quadri del '900 dove Cubismo,Futurismo,Astrattismo,trovano casa e Depero,Balla,Guttuso,De Chirico sono tra gli autori, in cui il filo comune é il lavoro,quadri spettacolari posti in sale altrettanto belle. Al piano superiore é posta la Pinacoteca Civica,opere con radice comune il territorio o meglio Autori che hanno avuto collegamenti con questa terra di Romagna,Il Maestro Melandri,Wildt,Morandi,per citarne alcuni. In conclusione consiglio vivamente la visita,per chi ama l'Arte del '900 italiano,rimane la rabbia che ho scritto in apertura,perché in Italia abbiamo questi gioielli , sono pressoché sconosciuti al grande pubblico. Tempo di visita di una oretta circa. Consiglio la visita nelle vicinanze,del Museo San Domenico,altro polo museale meritevole di visita. Ambienti splendidi ma una menzione speciale al personale molto gentile,preparato e sempre disponibile,controllo GP come da regole. Parcheggi comodi nelle vicinanze, dalla Stazione dei treni,dista circa 1,8km,molto comodi gli autobus delle linee 1,2,3 e 4,ricarica auto elettriche in zona,ristoranti tipici con cucina romagnola nei dintorni. Visita effettuata il 16/01/2021. It's angry, it's really angry, because such a beautiful museum is practically unknown. This Museum houses the Verzocchi Collection and the Civic Art Gallery. The Verzocchi Collection includes paintings from the 1900s where Cubism, Futurism, Abstractionism find a home and Depero, Balla, Guttuso, De Chirico are among the authors, in which the common thread is work, spectacular paintings placed in equally beautiful rooms. Upstairs is the Civic Art Gallery, works with a common root in the territory or better Authors who have had connections with this land of Romagna, Il Maestro Melandri, Wildt, Morandi, to name a few. In conclusion, I highly recommend the visit, for those who love Italian 20th century art, the anger I wrote at the beginning remains, because in Italy we have these jewels, they are almost unknown to the general public. Visit time of about an hour. I recommend a visit nearby, the San Domenico Museum, another museum worthy of a visit. Beautiful environments but a special mention to the very kind staff, prepared and always available, GP control as per rules. Convenient parking nearby, from the train station, about 1.8km away, very convenient buses of lines 1,2,3 and 4, electric car recharging in the area, typical restaurants with local cuisine in the surrounding area. Visit carried out on 16/01/2021.
