Ospita da diversi anni il Brass Group, fucina di talenti musicali e punto di riferimento nel panorama jazzistico nazionale, ma familiare per molti artisti di calibro internazionale.
 Lo Spasimo, an indescribable, magical place which - built in 1509 - through the centuries has been a Benedictine convent, hospital, bastion, theater, refuge and, even, used furniture storage.
It has hosted the Brass Group for several years, a breeding ground for musical talents and a reference point in the national jazz scene, but familiar to many artists of international caliber.

The Brass Group of Palermo is one of the major national musical realities. Designed by Ignazio Garsia in 1974 as a group of brass instruments - from which "The Brass Group" - is the only Italian institution producing jazz music and one of the rarest in the world.
His Sicilian Jazz Orchestra - like the orchestras of the Lincoln Center in New York and the BBC in London - had the greatest conductors.

Per chi ama questo tipo di musica e non solo , eventi nei quali è piacevole partecipare. Orchestra di grandissimo livello musicale, bravi continuate così!
Sicilian historical orchestra in which there are really good musicians, their prestigious musical review presented every year at the Santa Cecilia theater where there are numerous world-famous personalities. For those who love this type of music and more, events in which it is pleasant to participate. Orchestra of great musical level, good keep it up!
