Assolutamente da visitare e da rinfrescarsi nei giorni caldi di luglio e agosto!!! Small river of very cold fresh water from 20 to 30 cm high suitable for children. I recommend it to everybody. Absolutely to visit and cool off in the hot days of July and August !!!

Molto meno conosciuto del "fratello maggiore", il Chidro, ma stupendo allo stesso modo, forse anche più bello visto che non viene preso d'assalto. Beautiful stream of fresh and crystalline water that flows into the Ionian Sea. Much less known than the "older brother", the Chidro, but gorgeous in the same way, perhaps even more beautiful since it is not taken by storm.

Le acque sono limpide e ricchissime di pesci. Svolazzano libellule di splendidi colori fluorescenti. Nel periodo non estivo è possibile ammirare diversi uccelli acquatici e serpenti (bisce acquatiche non velenose) di acqua dolce. La temperatura è più o meno costante tutto l’anno e si aggira attorno ai 16 gradi pertanto in estate può sembrare gelida rispetto all’acqua di mare. Beautiful place, little known compared to the largest chidro river. It is a source of fresh water that flows from the underground. The waters are clear and rich in fish. Dragonflies flutter with splendid fluorescent colors. In the non-summer period it is possible to admire various water birds and snakes (non-poisonous aquatic snakes) of fresh water. The temperature is more or less constant throughout the year and is around 16 degrees so in summer it may seem cold compared to sea water.

Comunque, si può fare il bagno in mare se si preferisce l'acqua più calda. Il posto non è facilmente raggiungibile e non ci sono bar o stabilimenti nelle vicinanze, ma per chi è ben attrezzato ed ama le spiagge selvagge ed il mare cristallino è un posto fantastico! Wonderful beach ... beautiful freshwater stream that meets the sea. The water is very cold, but regenerating for those who love low temperatures. However, you can swim in the sea if you prefer warmer water. The place is not easily accessible and there are no bars or establishments nearby, but for those who are well equipped and love wild beaches and crystal clear sea it is a fantastic place!
